Luka and Carol were the best couple when Carol wasn’t thinking about Doug! I know Carol is truly Doug’s soulmate but I feel like Carol and Luka worked so much better together. Did Doug even visit the twins? Luka helped when he had no obligation to.
They never wrote in Doug visiting the twins but we also got a hint that maybe Doug didn't even know they existed until the night after their birth. Mostly it was tough because George Clooney was off the show so their hands were tied with this storyline...
@@VioletEmerald hmm I didn’t think about that. I was thinking about the scene after Carol gives birth where she said she needs to make a call. I would have expected him to visit but i guess there could be other reasons we don’t know about!

I think Luka/Carol were a healthier couple but didn't seem to have much sexual chemistry... there was this him saving her thing that was almost more familial or platonic at moments... Doug/Carol were a ship with a lot of issues but had their moments... ;)
Luka and Carol also would have made a lovely couple. He loved the twin daughters as if they were his own. I think he picked Carol due to her resemble to Daniela.
Also this song always makes me have associations with the 100th episode of One Tree Hill and Lindsey not marrying Lucas and stuff, moreso than I really have strong Smallville associations with "Wherever You Will Go". Lol.
And when I say doug or luca I don't just mean looks (luca i WAY more hotter than doug, but that depends on one's brunette vs. blond preferenece") But I love BOTH!!! And great video. I so Miss This Show, especially since I missed lots of last 5 seasons due to work and it's now off cable. Gotta love carol. gotta luv luca. And Doug: admit it: all women like the cute naughty boys.
Nah, Doug all day for me. Now Luka was. Sweet guy but Doug was everything thing to me, even when he was being an ass. Plus the chemistry btw D and C was off the charts. I cried with Carol when Doug walked away.
I don't think a "Nah" on my fanvideo is necessary. This was a fanvideo about the truth of Carol and Luka including Carol choosing to leave him for Doug and her wanting Doug more and loving Doug romantically fully too even if she cared about Luka too (possibly platonically even).

Mmmm. I didn’t like Luka and Carol. I love Luka and Abby. Two totally completely different people. And they worked. He was the sweet one and she was a straight shooter with a dude like attitude. I love them. S7 and then when the finally got together in S12. Luka was like Carol and Abby was like Doug.
I love Luka & Carol but they worked in a platonic way for me maybe better than a romance, to be honest. I hadn't figured out yet when I made this that I was asexual and on the aromantic spectrum
