I just finished the larger one. It took almost 3 pkgs of the rope. I wrapped a thin piece of jute (twine) around the ends to give it a more finished look. Just glue the beginning of the jute, wrap it around and glue the end. Shannon is very creative!!!!!! Love her videos. She makes everything look so easy.
I made this! It made a great little conterpiece for my coffee table. I put a little tin can of spring flowers I bought at the dollar store, my coasters and little candle. I love it. Great project! Thank you!😊
Almost three years late seeing this. I have a set of the burner covers I need to do something with. Thanks bunches. I might try looping the rope at opposing sides while doing the last row to make the handles. Late comer to crafting. Turned 75 years old in July.

Very nice. I might add a tip if I may. The ends of the rope that is used for the handles stay together well with a bit of glue shot down in the end first before joining. This keeps them from fraying from use.
I have a thought, instead of wrapping the outside, why not paint the stove cover to look galvanized and keep the top part in rope? I do like all of your DIYs and your creativity. Thanks for sharing.
