I knew the war was lost when they were pushing HIMARS as a wunderweapon that would win the war. I used to be an artillery officer, and I knew enough to know that the Russians also have rocket artillery, there's nothing magic about ours, and they certainly more of it than the number of systems we were sending, which was piecemealed in a few dozen at a time.

Let's not be naive here. The missiles most definitely spoke, rather loudly I might add (not so much the ATACMs but the storm shadows did), it's just that Russia's response shouted a lot louder! The need to show force with the Oshenka was because the missiles spoke.

They also struck a building full of nato operatives. So that tells me they know more than just watching the sky for rockets.

Oct. 15, an EA-18 electronics surveillance aircraft on a "training mission" supposedly crashed on or near Mt. Rainier in Washington State. The area was cordoned off for days before the crash was "found" -- yet no visual evidence, even redacted for security purposes, was ever shown, to my knowledge. Supposedly, the pilots' bodies were never found. Right... Weather was not bad and altitude of supposed crash site was not very high. I think they were "looking" for the bodies on the wrong continent. I suspect that they went down with the plane in Europe -- specifically in Ukraine.

In 2014 I thought "no way, because of some Ukraine". However, the United States together with Great Britain managed to escalate the Ukrainian crisis into a war, as a result of which about 900,000 Ukrainian soldiers have died. There are well over a million wounded Ukrainian soldiers. Many of them cannot continue working in their former professions or start a family after peace comes. The United States is responsible for the destruction of Ukraine. How the United States will compensate the Ukrainian people for the suffering it has caused them is an open question for now.
The United States, now that it is losing the war it started against Russia, will probably flee Europe with the idea of leaving the economic union of the EU to fight alone against Russia. This happened in Vietnam and recently in Afghanistan. In order to achieve peace in Ukraine as quickly as possible, the EU should stop supporting the United States in the US war against Russia.
It is regrettable that the destructive policy of the United States has caused great confusion and significant economic problems for Europe. The Federal Republic of Germany has suffered the most from the US trade war against Europe, especially after the US destroyed the European energy supply system (the Nordstream and Nordstream-2 natural gas pipelines) through its terrorist act.

The USA "Ukraine project", which started as early as in 19, will be another failure for USA. This project was activated in 2014, when USA initiated a civil war in Central Europe (Ukraine). Russia was waiting fo a diplomatic solution to the "Ukraine crisis" during 8 years (Minsk agreement in 2014 and Minsk 2 agreement in 2015). As a result of aggressive policy of USA, UK and NATO, Russia launched their special military operation (SMO) in 2022 February 24! Russia and Ukraine were about to sign a peace agreement in March/April 2022. The British Prime Minister appeared in Kiev and forbade the then President of Ukraine to sign a peace agreement, promising that the West would support Ukraine in its fight against Russia, and that the war would be decided on the battlefield. By the way, just at the time when Ukraine and Russia had initialed the peace treaty they had negotiated in Istanbul, Ukraine advanced on the fronts and recaptured 50 km2 of its lost lands around Kiev and the Kiev region in a very short time. This was interpreted in the Western press as a show of strength by Ukraine, and as the inability of the Russian army to fight. In fact, at the time when peace was agreed in Istanbul, Russia withdrew its troops from the Kiev administrative region as a sign of goodwill, so that Ukrainian troops advanced on their own territory without resistance. The same thing happened with the Butcha provocation - Russian troops had already left Butcha two days earlier, when the Ukrainian PR Army, published "news" about Russian terrorist acts in Butcha. The Ukrainian Public Relation Army is a unit attached to the Presidential Administration, tasked with producing suitable news for the Western audiance and listeners.
Ukraine is a master at lying, stealing and begging, but a sovereign independent state cannot be founded on such a platform.

That is the reason these men have died. it is also the reason the Russians are saying using these missiles is a direct attack by NATO/US forces.

Analyzing the situation, getting 'Lucky' with 5 launchers means either the Ukrainians were stupid and had them all stored together (Unlikely) or they were hunting for them and found some kind of 'electronic signal/transmission' that gave the locations away and they struck all 5 which is not luck, that is how search and destroy works! So 5 launchers being in separate locations is not luck where 5 launchers in the same locations is luck and still how did they find them? Luck is a very loosely used term when people fail to understand many intricate incidents that compile into an outcome!
Luck would be firing a bunch of missiles at no target in a hope to hit something and destroy everything they were not aiming at! (Luck does not make sense in many situations)
But the Russians could be 'fortunate' and had a spy(s) on the ground that told them where they were but again that would not be 'luck' that's effort taken to produce the outcome!
In Intelligence circles we 'should' not use luck as a outcome as it means we can overlook something and ignore something that is actually important!
