I remember him de-cleating Mack Wilson, nice size LB, in the NCAA playoffs. And because of the strength, he's fearless over the middle. Why? He’s phenomenal in the slot. The league has evolved to where teams want their dominant receivers in the slot a good bit to exploit mismatches. The Cowboys are lucky in that both Amari and Lamb can excel out wide or in the slot. Gallup is more of an outside guy, but even he can cause problems in the slot. The trio is outstanding.

Now we have 25 consecutive years of mediocrity. Even with Lamb and Prescott and Elliot, the Cowboys will never win a Superbowl, ever. The Cowboys have such a good receiving corps that they could lose 2 of their big three (Cooper, Gallup, Lamb) and still have backups like Cedric Wilson and Noah Brown who can come in and play as capably as many starters in the league. And if Kelvin Joseph can come along as well as Diggs has, they might be just fine at corner too.
He will definitely be up there. Golladay is very good. Amari is also excellent. Washington has two receivers now that are criminally underrated too in Terry and Curtis Samuel. Ceedee will definitely be among the best though; that’s for sure.

Yeah, I just watched the hit 38 put on Lamb. No way should that have been a penalty. I understand it was a very hard hit! But this is the NFL with men playing! This isn’t High School or College! If I was an NFL worthy athlete and I was drafted by Jerry Jones, I would refuse to play for them. Jefferson is gonna be one of the elites in the league. But that’s an unfair comparison. Jefferson had the benefit of consistent QB play while Lamb played with 4 different QB’s. I like really like Jefferson but for Lamb to do what he did under those circumstances was nothing less than impressive.
