I don’t think Scorn is a bad card, but I also don’t think Scorn will bring much help to Discard, and here’s why: Scorn basically conflicts with Swarm, because aside from MODOK, the only reliable card to discard them both is Colleen. When you discard Swarm once, it becomes 0/6, but discarding Scorn once only gives you 1/6 (and that’s assuming you actually manage to play Scorn, while Swarm almost always gets played). When you discard Swarm twice, it becomes 0/9, while discarding Scorn twice gives you 1/10, which still isn’t as good as Swarm. It’s only after three discards that Scorn reaches 1/14, which is comparable to Swarm’s 0/12, but I don’t think discarding three times or more is easy. So, my take on Scorn is that while it gives Discard a backup plan if you don’t draw Swarm, making the deck more consistent, it doesn’t really improve the overall power ceiling. And with the current power creep in the game, Discard is no longer as strong when going toe-to-toe with other decks as it used to be, so just adding consistency is probably not enough to make it more competitive.
That zoom in on Sentry was perfect 😂
Collector/Discard with Moon Girl and Scorn is where it's at! Very good deck
This sounds fun as hell, do you have a deck code?
