i know you use the cardboard for the ears but that diy disney ear group on facebook suggested checking out these white coasters, its perfect shape every time and lighter than cardbard. personally i use craft foam to make it lighter.
That sounds awesome! I’ve tried craft foam but I feel like they’re less sturdy especially with the lights 🤷♀️ I do use craft foam when I sew Ears though
@@DreamItDIY yea i can agree with that for foam. I do like cardboard because i think its stiffer and keeps the shape, but personally i think its a little heavy than other materials.i tried your ornament tutorial and i feel like that was easiest for me, even if i didnt do lights inside (but i totally did)! I need to try the coaster idea next. PS ive been sharing your video of the ornament ears on the facebook group, because everyone loves the idea and like the ones i made with the help of the tutorial. I wanted to let you know and give you credit for the wonderful idea! so hopefully you get more subscribers and views! Thank you for sharing the tutorial!
Congrats on 3000!!! So glad you're bulking up! I remember subscribing under 200. And oh my lord these ears are so perfect. Bless your husband for these ears. I would love to see a challenge where you him and your daughter make ears together
Ha! His exact response “I would never do that.. wouldn’t wanna make you look bad” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I’m sure I can convince him eventually 😏 and thank you so much! You’ve been with me from the start ❤️
Cute ears. I made some ears the other day and used your non sew method and they came out pretty good. I’ll have to try this next. I actually bought the same fabric.😁❤️❤️❤️
😱 I love them! I wasn't going to make Halloween ears for my trip but now I want to! Maybe I can make my Jack & Sally ears light up with this technique🤔
@@DreamItDIY is your jack & sally fabric from joann's? That's where I got mine from. I also bought some fabric quarters in grey/black for the bow. It kinda reminds me of haunted mansion, but matches the inside of the frame on the jack & sally fabric (I think). I'll send you a pic in Instagram tonight.
I love this idea so much, I actually tried these but they are so heavy, they don’t stay on because they’re so heavy, any way to fix this issue while using lights?
Maybe thinner cardboard? Some of my friends were saying when they feel the ears are too heavy they use craft foam and just double layer it for each ear. I haven’t tried it but I’m sure it’s lighter
Wow! Those ears are epic. Your so talented and creative.
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Awe, so adoreable! Great! Job! ❤😂
Thank you!!
I love that fabric! 🧡 That is the same way that I put lights on my Main Street electrical parade ears.
Omg. I LOVE that idea!!! And the fabrics from Walmart if you’re looking 😉
DreamItDIY That was my next question! Thank you

Lost, the sound 😢😮
I know unfortunately TH-cam banned the music I used in that section so it had to be muted I’m so sorry 😩
