- In this General Hospital scene from 12/08/97, Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) is shot outside of Luke's (Tony Geary) club. Even back then Jason (Steve Burton) is the big hero but Luke was such a putz to Nikolas in the early days, it was nice to see a touch of humanity. Look for Alan, Monica, Mike, (the original) Emily as well as Lucky and Elizabeth.

Tyler gave an outstanding performance in this seen. He deserves all of his leading roles nomination and awards. The only Nikolas l love and want to see in this role. RIP sweet Tyler Christopher l love you 🕊️🕊️🪽🪽👼👼👼😭😭😭💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏
This was also a turning point in the relationship between Nik & Luke. Luke began to see Nik as more than just a Cassadine but as Laura's son! He went along with Nik in the ambulance to the hospital holding his hand he whole way there.
What I don't understand, is that there was a room full of doctors and a mob hitman performs a traceadomy? Wow,

This was a good sign for Luke and Nikolas. Like saving Laura’s son. That’s what was important. Nothing else. Nikolas having tears in his eyes and focusing on Luke was pivotal in their relationship.

Jason saves Nikolas's life, and later Nikolas saves Jason's life in the hotel fire. So, good thing he did. Came around.

Cara Mia Alan was a closet drug addict at the time. He was hooked on pills. That's why Em said to him "Your hands are shaking". He knew he couldn't help because he was strung out.

I love how this was the very first episode of Guza’s second stint as head writer of the show and it really is so typical Guza 😂.
I remember this one -back when GH was amazing you'd want to watch it twice. This was a huge paradigm with Nicholas and the Spencers.
Why is Allen just standing there?
I remember this episode when it aired. Was so afraid that Nicolas was going to die at that time. GH would have never been the same without Tyler Christopher in it. In my world Nicolas became one of my favorite characters. He is the only prince Nicolas Cassadine l love and wanted to see.

Well yes Jason was a hero BUT it was a good hero! :) He has all this medical knowledge that he remembers! :) And yes it was nice to see a touch of humanity from Luke. :) Nik wanted him to hold his hand aww! :) What do you mean Mike the original? I don't remember someone else playing Mike.
Later on another actor took over the role until they killed him off.

It was more of a deep-seated hatred of the Cassadine family as a whole for Luke and of course, Nikolas thought Luke killed his father Stavros and grandfather Mikkos when it was far more complicated than that.
