Sump is to check the boxes are working as they should, and it has shown us we need to change the new dredge box setup.... its designed to work on all our 8" girls.. Cheers
Another fun video, thank you! I never see any fish in your guys rivers. Does your rivers have any fish? Here in Oregon they swarm the dredge while feeding on bugs and worms.
All the dredges are custom made, apart from the wee 4" which has a custom box.. cost is really up to you, if you can make it yourself you would save allot, I think a new Keene 6" dredge is now 20k not to sure on there 8" dredge.
Its good to see you guys can fab up your own shit !! Im a boiler maker by trade and have made all my own sluices !! this sump idea is really good hey !! just to make sure your not losing your fine gold through the big turbulent sluice hey !! :)

I don't know who is in charge of the gold fever NZ but have a gripe about the filthy language and actions that is not tolerable so if boss of YTb site then clean up the site by getting rid of this man or get him to clean up his act. we do not turn on GFNZ to see these things but to see your dredging techniques which is very good generally. one other question would like to ask is on clean up show matting and clean up of gold. thanks.

yeah the odd fish, and a heap of eels.... every now and again we will see them out the back feeding..
