Tenkos hatred of men surely comes from her taking her masters words at face value, but I think it also has to do with the fact that she does "justice hero" work and the vast majority of violent crime is committed by men. Couple this with the fact that she lives at an isolated temple and has little contact with men outside of violent confrontation and you can see why she acts the way she does.

She's my favorite girl of the whole series. Maybe because I'm a yuri fan but somehow this is the truth. She has even (why I don't know) the same black tribal around the eyes like Mondo, my favorite character of Danganrompa 1.
