Great vedio on GD. Thank you. If blood glucose is less than 140 at one hour and also less than 120 at two hours but 170 at 1.5 hour, is this problem?. With CGM we can see that sometime you have pick between one hour and two hours. But most Dr. Just consider 1 hour and 2 hour but is not that bad to have high number in between?
Question. When you say to calculate your BMI, are you saying to use our current weight? For instance, I'm 8 months pregnant and weigh 184 lbs. Or do we use our weight before we got pregnant? I think we use current weight but I think it's better to ask

In your opinion is it safer/healthier to have an occasional fasting glucose of 95 (upper threshold) or to use insulin at night so that it never reaches 95.
i am taking insulin, 6 units morning&lunch time and 4 before dinner. but my fasting blood sugar is still uncontrolled. 😢 i don't even take midnight snacks and also i don't eat a lot. it upsets me

If you think they are talking from their s..that's your opinion! I respect MDs who think outside of the box and try to share! Any GD pregnant women who sent to a specialist in the US has been told to consume hundreds of grams of carbs which led insulin over use!

My blood sufar is 100 to 106 in fasting and after 2 hours of breakfast 160 i m in 4th month of pregnancy in 2nd trimester please guide is there GD
You will need to be actively managed by an endocrinologist and they need to see you every 2 to 4 weeks.

If you are pregnant you will need NPH or long acting insulin

Also, a lot of youtube doctors that give advice are chiropractors. Like eric Berger, famous on youtube for giving advice. Sad
