Had a great time with #Pentatonix at the iconic Hollywood Bowl. Blown away by such talent, humility and kindness. Topped off with a solid #CelloBoxing set from Kevin and crew. Glad he's not a medical doctor...yet! Thx PTX for a fantastic night!
Thank you very much for recording and sharing these incredibly beautiful Pentatonix performances. I loved every second. Kevin's section was magical. He was in his element with the classical rendition and with adding his own flair. The other musicians and dancer were perfect. Magical indeed.
I wish we all had gotten together a plan to meet up at the concert. I kept posting I had tickets, and I never saw anyone's post that they were going. well we were all there together/apart but it was a Wonderful exciting night !
@@laurasmith7271 I live in L. A county about 35 min away from the venue (a bit over an hour with traffic). I didn't have a ticket. I have so much sh*t going on at home I was not going to go. But I didnt want to regret it and went at the last minute, bought my ticket (Got a good seat).I would have loved to meet up with people had I planned this better. I did queue for the restroom with Connie Hoying though. LOL! she is quite TALL! 😆
@@RavenswoodProductions , PTX Weekly has posted several videos of the performance on their channel. Each video is a separate song. Also reactor Tea Time with Travis had a second row seat and took videos of the whole concert, so check out his channel.
God am I glad that you & Travis got nice video footage mine as usual turned out terrible & told myself I was going to practice (but never did) Great concert I Loved every minute. . .
@@jcs1025 okay . . . Kevin composing is cool. I just hope that those other people went away afterwards. During the last Christmas tour they had the cello (which is basically a founding member of the band so that's cool), a guitar, drums, a piano, and video of a violin. That's more than enough for an a cappella band.
@@mmg8823 They never had a guitar on stage during their last Christmas tour. This Hollywood Bowl show included Kevin's section with cello and Matt on drums. He did his moment, rightfully so (he's a world class musician, it's in his blood, it's his passion, and he was VERY grateful to his group peers for letting him live his dreams on stage - watch his insta stories), and then they did 'Shallow' with him playing cello. They aren't some random choir, they've always been a pop band first and foremost.
@@ptxweekly5268 Of course they had. For the song "Evergreen" they had a guitar accompaniment. In one of the concerts even Scott's father accompanied them with the guitar. And that was beautiful! 💕
Thank you for posting this. What a treat for those of us who couldn't attend.
Please share if you are willing to do so.
,grazia anche dall Italia sono fantastici
So jealous of all who could be there, so grateful for those who posted for all of us who couldn’t be there. Thank you! Peace from Ohio …

Can you share the name of the production and the orchestra?
The title is the name. There was no orchestra - just a few independent cello players.
They brought more instruments onstage? 😥 They don't need them. Why are they doing this?
Kevin composed this variation on Beethoven’s 5th symphony.
