The sink-notch thing isn't stupid, it's a happy accident! Fill it with gold, steel, differently stained wood, or marble, or another distinctive material. Make those two notches your trademark! How cool!
Or some epoxy and color👍
Genius!!!!
As a full time van lifer for 4 years now, hearing you say “last trip” at Home Depot is comical. IT NEVER ENDS!!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don't even know you and I'm so proud of you! lol. I'm old enough to be your mother so my maternity instinct is kicking in lol. You're a capable and confident young woman and I love watching how you're refurbishing your van all on your own (not a surprise). You're amazing! Thanks for taking us along on your van-life journey. (Eliza is adorable as always)
As a retired Plumber I felt that "Ow, I got something in my eye" bloop all the way to the very center of my being. I spent a significant amount of my career lying on my back under sinks and other cabinets.
This has become my a greatest wish to meet you one day. Just by watching you I feel very relaxed and I forget everything around me. 😀✨I wonder how do you manage to be happy in such chaos how do you bring smile on your face... 😍😍 Just keep smiling you're an inspiration for me ✨💋lots and lots of love!
It’s so impressive that you’re doing it all yourself and rolling with the challenges and rain.
In the future, when you accidentally make extra cuts in wood just fill it with wood glue and sawdust from that wood. Only you will know it's there and it takes a bunch of stress out of woodworking. If it's a big boo boo, just cut a slice of wood and use that ... fill with sawdust and glue mix if the slice is too small.
You could use some wood glue and saw dust, mix it together and fill those cuts you made by mistake. Not sure how well it would hold up to moisture though. Great job you're doing. So much work and making videos about it too. Thanks for sharing!
Oh lord, Maddie, what a "What now?!" situation. I keep hearing your expressions of chagrin, and thinking, "I might have something in my tools or supplies for that.."
Oh well. Let your mantra be, "This will all be worth it, someday soon." It's pretty cool how Eliza just doesn't give a damn.
Bee-side the point, but I like how you often give special attention to bees going about their pollinating activities. Right now, I'm missing the drawing and watercoloring episodes, but everything in its time, eh?
Hello Maddie
Even though the weather wasn't great 🤣🤣🤣
You did alot of work to get the van back in order
looking great keep up the good work 👌👌👌
Hope to see jou again soon
Have FUN and be SAVE
Don't "fake it 'til you make it." Make it 'til you've done it for your own happiness, then make some more. ❤
I just admire that you have the ability to do all of that. Congrats.looking great!!
Very impressed with you and your strength and determination!
I'm a general contractor in Northern California. I have made approximately 250 million trips (or so it feels) to the hardware store. One thing I have learned in all those trips is that I still definitely forgot something. You're a trooper for staying the course and getting things done.
Cleaning and a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference! Great job!!!
Maddie, I love the floors and despite the weather, you are still moving forward please be safe in this rainstorm .
You're doing a great job Maddie, have a great week, take care 😊
You've done a great job so far, looks great!! 🫶
You're a trooper, Maddie. It's looking really good!
A fresh coat of paint: a few new cabinets and it will be like a brand new home for you!
I love your green long sleeve shirt at the end. 😍 such a good video.
Looks like you got a lot done despite the weather 😊
Maddie ever so proud of you. Look what your doing, and how super it is coming out . Your. Context is great. And you r teaching others who r thinking about becoming van lifers.
The finger notch idea 💡 is awesome !!!!
Good for you. I'm very proud of you Maddie.
This video motivates me to start rebuilding my van life during our next winter rainstorm.
Meanwhile, I'll just lay here and rest.
Perseverance girl!! Love this video, things are coming together so nicely!! Hope you are well and happy, be safe see you on your next adventure ❤️🫶🦋
Looks great, Maddie! Nice job! Although, Phillip looked pissed when you yanked him out of his home! ;)
Well, I think you’re amazing Maddie!!! There’s no way on earth I would even attempt what you’re doing. It’ll be so nice when you finish.
It's looking like a brand new van again. You'll be so much happier when it's finished.
Maddie =) ,the end result turned out so well , even with all the weather issues .
I think your van has a sense of wabi-sabi, the Japanese concept of seeking beauty in imperfection. Even your chaotic videos seem soothing to me. Thank you for sharing!
Your Doing A very very very Great Job Fixing The Inside Of Your Van 🚐 Maddie 👍
A fan will dry the wood quickly. Laxtex paint is water-based but surface should be dry.
Maddie, your attitude and determination is an inspiration. You should have a great sense of accomplishment. Good job and nice work. 👍
Nice to see your good work ethic!
This and previous one was really fun
Proud of you!
You van is by far the best one I've seen on youtube ... just because it looks real ( not plasticky ) and obviously made by your own blood, sweat, and tears. Thanks for sharing and all the best.
You need to familiarize yourself with Hofstadter's Law:
Hofstadter's Law: It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.
Wow! You are amazing!
Keep up the good work!
It looks great!
Absolutely LOVE the thumbnail❤
Absolutely immersed into you deeply

Hang in there! It’s going to be great! Thanks, Maddie🥰
Hi Maddie im from Ontario Canada love the videos and builds
Keep up the great videos and watch out for wildlife photo bombs
You are so talented. It looks so nice!❤
You're amazing ✨❤️
Proud of you Maddie. 🦘🦘🤠
There's a reason it's called "HOME" Depot: you feel like you live there most of the time. I'll bet you can even help other customers with "how-to's" and finding what they need. Right? It looks good. The notches in your sink top provide a creative edge all your own.
Big project and I didn’t hear any swearing! You must of edited those moments out. Carry on and enjoy the new mobile suite.
Good job especially considering the rain 😊.
You are doing such an amazing job and with such a great attitude when things don't go according to plan. The van looks incredible! You are truly an inspiration, Maddie.
Just a tip rolling paint doesn't take any pressure. If your pushing your doing it incorrectly.
You look very beautiful in this video; it's hard to explain. There's a different kind of energy on your face.
Good luck with your project, and I hope you finish things with the same dedication.
Nice start to the video capturing nature, before getting down to business. That van gets so much love, look forward to the new journeys. 👍🐶🐶
Time pressure!!! I know there is more rain on the way to California!!! Hopefully it is not that bad by you.
Monday LOVED your outfit❤
LOVED the pov view in the bloops section😍😍
Great job !…Thanks for the video !!
Your van is looking great! Good work figuring out your flooring even after that disappointing news from Home Depot. I have to say even with all the set backs you keep your chin up and get to it.. my kind of woman! ❤
Great video 👍👍
Tuesday
Gorgeous day with a gorgeous woman❤
Also loved your outfit that day
You have come a long way and I think you are doing a great job!
Wiw going to rebuilding that good do not get wet from the rain

What a picture!
Too cute!
You are a 100% tradeslady, going fast but a pretty good job given that there are a lot of angles and cuts.
Well-done! You've made a ton of progress & it looks beautiful! That clip of Eliza zooming past really made me laugh! Adorable! Hugs xo
Lots of progress here! Looking forward to the finished product! Home Depot probably has more of that flooring in other stores. There’s quite a bit of Home Depot stuff that could be bought cheaper at Harbor Freight.
Always love your vids!
Saturday
LOVED your shirt❤
Hi Maddie, Will you be getting an alternator for your van to charge your leisure battery?
HGTV needs to give you your own show! You would have millions of followers ❤
Wedneaday
Not much worse then working in the rain😶
That sucks about the wind
But you in that hat, ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE❤❤
I got wood you can work with wet
You make me want to get outside and work on my build.
Good work❤
Hope the floor is good now😊
Reminder to wear a mask when sanding or cutting wood. Really important.
I love the handy work you do! I might have to hire you to do handywoman work for me 😂❤
Adapt & overcome
I'm feeling really spoiled that someone is building my van for me. Of course, I have to sell my house to afford it, but still. I hope you get everything back together the way you want and it serves you well.
woow, the Van looks so amazing and it is incredible how much you got done, even though the universe was throwing a lot of shit at you! You're amazing, can't wait to see the end result !!
Please wear mask/ protective gears during work, good luck!
Well done! I always remind myself there is no need to rush and there is plenty of time..that keeps me from having to re do things in the end. With the wet wood will mold be a consideration?
Good video!
good job
Exuding grace under pressure as usual. I, however, would probably be spouting multiple pirate-worthy expletives despite my normal even-temperedness. I like that you just roll with it. Thanks! I am sure I can do this!
Camping with bluetti!!!
You are doing amazing ! I wouldn't have dared undertake the job in hand. Its great watching you accomplish an amazing job all under your own steam :o) Inspirational :o) !!!
I'm your Brazilian fan, you are my expiration 🇧🇷🫶🏼
Thanks for sharing is interesting.❤❤❤
You are a great joy to follow. 😊😅
Enjoyed ❤️
