    Time the Valuator came out of left field for me and I end up saving every song that comes up from them. I'll have to watch out for them coming to Chicago.

    I WISH I WOULD HAVE SEEN THIS VIDEO 3 YEARS AGO 😭 hahaha. Man you are SO good at explaining the music production behind the song. I love it. Oh and I was so excited to see your reaction at the very end when you heard Phil's natural register and tone hahaha. The guy is unbelievably talented. Thanks so much for this reaction/review. It was super entertaining and educational!

    New one to me! Yes the drums were forward in the mix but quite minimalist. What I Iiked was how the drums and the rest of the instruments were somehow offset in their timing--Not sure if that qualifies as syncopation, but that was the coolest part of it for me.

    If you ever come back to these guys, check out "Elusive Reasons". The vocalist is taking it to another level there. He sadly had to quit the band tho...

    Yet another excellent reaction and thank you for introducing me to another band. I suggest adding Paradise Lost - "Darker Thoughts" off their recently released album to your list of bands/songs that are not on the usual list of reactions.

      Fuck yeah. A Paradise Lost reaction from their newest would be pretty cool. Personally, I'd rather hear "Ending Days" from that album (the album is called 'Obsidian' by the way -- For Chase, not the OP), but you can't go wrong with either.

      P.S. I am really curious to see your reaction to Tenacious D. Probably Kickapoo or Beelzeboss. These songs are from the movie The Pick of Destiny. It's a story of a little boy that only wants to ROCK. Leaves home to find greatness and discovers that all great rock bands use the same pick (part of Devil's tooth). At the end the already grwon up boy and his friend challenge the Devil to a rock off. Hope you like it if you ever decide to check it out.

      Oh, and I really like the clearly regular and planned, but arythmic sounding drum pattern. Evokes and then echoes the staggering drunk from the video throughout the song.

    I don't know if I care for this band, but I really appreciate you're putting out reactions to less well known bands. Nightwish and Unleash the Archers are amazing bands, and I will probably keep listening to other people's reactions as they come up, but I don't know that the best thing for your channel is reacting to songs that a lot of people have reacted to. It's got to be a hard balance for you as some songs are going to bring a ton of subs to your channel, but they might not let you expand your niche. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

    • @ChaseCarneson
      @ChaseCarneson 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah it's a bit of both. A lot of the bigger and more expected ones are still really good and they're popular for a reason but I also want to explore new things. That was the point of this all. to me it's all new but I will continue to do a bit of both. You can never please everyone, but I have to find it fulfilling too.
