- World of Shōgun is a six-minute fully animated piece of short form content produced by FX, in close collaboration with our teams at Method Studios. Created principally in Unreal Engine (UE), World of Shōgun immerses audiences in the enthralling world of FX’s landmark limited series, providing them with a historical overview of Feudal Japan and a deeper understanding of the power struggles that springboard the series’ events.
Method became a major VFX partner on the project, taking on the majority of the visual effects sequences including layout, animation, fx, lighting, and compositing, and developing the painterly effect with carefully considered and hand-placed brushstroke textures.

With how things are going CA has lost their touch with their own franchise a long time ago. It wouldn't be as good. It'll just be a disappointment.

it gives it consistency and artistic look. Dark cold tones evoke tension, negative emotions, betrayal,... it fits

Can somebody please tell them that even that kind of armor actually stops lots of blows and prevents people from being killed - not vice versa.
From what i saw in this breakdown, every blow i have seen that appeared lethal went for some weakspot, spear to the side, katana slash to the neck
