You should never place a tube or pipe over any type of spanner for extra leverage. So much so it contravenes H&S regs. If you need more leverage the spanner is too short!
+Barry Mason absolute rubbish. If you need to slip anything over the spanner for more leverage the spanner is too short. If it the correct length you don't need to apply more leverage. Load, fulcrum and effort! I've been in industry using for 50 years and this would result in a claim to the spanner makers if the spanner snapped and injured anyone. It contravenes H&S and as such, "designed for the purpose" (according to you or the makers) won't exempt them from trying to be above statute law.
+Barry Mason and you need to come down off your arrogant high horse and remember we now live in the compensation state. It's a shit design to start with lest of all because the tool supplied isn't capable of making it lift the load! Use shit gear if you want by all means,
+edward charles Common engineering practice You can buy bars to fit over to extend the leverage. If I where you I would stop the stupid comments now as you look sillier by the post
You can use the corner jacks on some vans my caravan levels with it its a swift challenger 550se if you are wondering
You can if the legs are fixed to the chassis. You can't if they, (like most) attach to the ply floor.
+Stevie Shaw They are not Jacks but steadies and you will damage the van if you use it to level the van
Never use corner jacks to level caravan, even if they connect to chassis.
No mention of twin axles?
Why would you need an extra device to level it? surely you can just adjust the legs that makes it sturdy to the ground to make it level?
You have no idea do you?the corner legs u say are meant to steady the van and not for levelling the van
That's why they're known as corner steadys. Too much weight can bend the legs and this is a costly repair bill:/
Hope this helps :)
good luck !
Guessing the steadies have went through your floor by now
wish the voice was much better, too hard to hear

+edward charles It would appear its you on your high horse making you comments to start with Not all people are as stupid as you seem think
+Paul McCormick you're stupid when you put a pipe over a spanner for more leverage!!!
