    As Yuval said in his book, "The greatest scientific discovery was the discovery of ignorance". Accepting that we don't know something and trying to know about it as compared to just saying 'god' did that is what has brought humanity this far.

    After listening to your conversations with Pastor T, I came across this amazing scripture in Hebrews 11: 1- 3. To also add onto the question about creation and God whom we cannot see. Faith helps us understand that we do not understand everything because the visible was made from the invisible 😊

    Pastor T has amassed alot of knowledge from the Holy Bible & it's also safe to say God has placed upon him alot of wisdom & understanding...l am in the states & l've been listening to alot of interviews & debates Pastor T has been on & believe you me this is a man who's done his homework properly! When l was in Kenya, l was in total darkness about how the world works & spiritual matters but l came to learn so much here & alot of what him & Mr Kimani of life is spiritual ministries say is 💯 true & aligns with scriptures also 💯

      Pastor Tee articulated well about how we are made in the image of the creator, this made me realiseà it is the reason we are able create things, and for the most part through studying the design of things in nature. We have even gone further and are able to read the code the intelligent designer used and are able to reproduce or enhance living things in nature through animal clonning and genetic modifications

    Pastor T. Is amazing in articulating the role of science.
    As a Christian, the curse of humanity is knowledge .
    And we spend time seeking it out and call it different names.
    Some science, some naturalists, and others atheist but all fail to answer the source, and that is the God Almighty creator of the universe.
    From him, in him, through him!
    Mwafreeka, I love that you took the time to research and have a belief founded on scientific facts and its said, a man in search of knowledge drunk the first gulp and found atheism but when he was done at the bottom, He found God.
    I pray that you find truth and life.
    Cheers 🥂

    Pastor said: "It takes faith to believe that in water there's hydrogen and oxygen". No it doesn't take faith. Even if you decide to believe it or not, this will always be a fact as proven by multiple experiments. Same way you can decide to have faith that Gravity doesn't exist and jump off a cliff and see what happens. The universe doesn't care what we believe in or not. We can only continue learning through experiments(what science does) and using the knowledge to make our lives better and maybe transition to the next "Homo XXXX".

      There's this blog called "godsaidmansaid" they have wonderful articles about science and God.

    I love this discussion, and especially Mr. T's arguments. I also applaud Mwafrika for his extensive knowledge. Most people who lean towards science and against religion make the assumption of relying on others' experiences to undermine faith. One thing I tell my friends is that I personally do not know the shape the earth because I have not seen it in its entirety. It might be flat (how i experience it), spherical (how i have seen on the Internet), oblate (how i was taught).

    • @IkoNini
      @IkoNini  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      To know the shape of the earth.
      Easiest experiment:
      1.Stand anywhere and you will feel like you’re at the Centre
      2. The shape of the horizon is always round.
      All navigation on earth works under that principle.
      Also another experiment, when you want to look far, you climb a tree. Why coz earth is flat otherwise being on a higher place wouldn’t make a difference with how far you can see

    • @roselinekiguta198
      @roselinekiguta198 ปีที่แล้ว

      At least you can try to disapprove that the earth is flat.
      What about oblate versus spherical?
      a. How does NASA get spherical images from an oblate object?
      b. Or why did my text book try to convince me that the earth is flattened at the poles and bulging at the equator while Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and images of other planets are spherical?
      So it is always important for me to experience something rather than regurgitate something I was told by an 'authority' or just heard.
      a. Take for example you first experiment, the feeling depends on the expansiveness of the surface you stand on. Probably the same reason earlier scientist thought the earth was the center of the universe only to later find out it is not even at the center of our galaxy.
      b. The second experiment is intuitive, if you have a limit to how far you can see, you would not expect to see corners of a triangular-flat-earth which are beyond the limit of your sight.
      c. The last argument concerning climbing a tree, I think you would also climb a tree on a flat earth that has vertical obstacles obscuring you straight line of sight. @@IkoNini

    I just feel science helps clarify God and God's phenomenon better..... as a Muslim science was taken up from a point of having The Creator as a focal point.

    I am a Christian. However I studied science and that is my career. If someone believes in science they should at least argue it out from a scientific point of view you can't say you believe in science and the last time you studies science was in high-school. In the words of renown physicist Werner Heisenberg, 'Once you take a sip from the cup of natural sciences you will be an atheist but at the bottom of the cup God will be waiting for you'

      This is a lie cause science doesn't work on a belief system it works on evidence, there's nothing like believing in science

    i often listen to pastor T but from my point of view, the guy was using faith to answer to questions that need objective facts. this is the greatest point of religion, it uses faith to answer questions where it does not have answers

      Everything about science is literally based on faith “hypothesis”. You literally need more faith to be an atheist than a Christian.

    Religion is not banned in China. Preaching to change someone's beliefs is what is banned. There are Chinese Christians and many Chinese Muslims. Actually there is a whole tribe( people from Xinjiang) who are Muslims. Not banned at all, not just famous, you believe what you want to believe without anyone trying to preach to you telling you how what they believe is better
