A real beauty of a flight! Grew up in a Tripacer and Mooney and as I get to the age where all my time will be mine, I'm considering something just for fun, light sport/sport, whatever the new designation will be. Looking forward to this series. Love the logo on Bess!

    You got a door 🚪! Congrats 🎊
The door really helps with the sound.

Looking forward to the series. Have owned four aircraft over the years: two Lake amphibs, one Aero Commander 500B, and now a Cessna 180. Mission was driven by enjoying to fly the aircraft. (Also needed four seats, decent range, speed, ... .) After the Commander, was driven by simplicity: one engine, fixed gear, proven aircraft, ... .
Would enjoy a video sometime of your journey to get GoPro working as you want.
    All the best --

Seaplane is on my bucket list. Unfortunately, my region isn’t particularly seaplane friendly.

I owned the two Lake amphibs (a Buccaneer and an EP) while based at KOJC -- lived in Spring Hill) -- a bit of a long flight to water but was one heckuva-lot of fun. Now I live in Wisconsin -- where there is plenty of water. Go figure.@@prodigalpilot

    Please also consider covering storage/hangars.

A problem pretty much everywhere I think! I had to sell the airport owners airplane in order to get my Hangar!

Good advice! Which my mission is just Sunday flying as an LSA pilot so 1 passenger almost no cargo and full fuel that I can put in a trailer and keep in my suburban backyard... Oh and as cheap as possible... Which surprisly craft like that do exsit and more are on the way... The best way to describe them are like Kitfox LSAs... Which to add a good thing to consider is what airports do you want to operate from and what kind of retals do exsit... Like for rental LSA in Northeast Florida you have to settle for a Cessna Skycatcher as your only choice so you might want to buy something else more your style.

I have videos specifically about LSA discussing some of these very things. Thanks for the comment!

Retired quite a few years now but buying another airplane is no longer in the budget. I guess I'll just armchair fly on TH-cam for now.
