this coach is awesome. "ill let you play" when you start fighting, doesnt talk over you and lets you concentrate no matter how it turns out then gives you pointers after whether it goes good or bad.
I think its actually easier tbh. Cuz he doesn't have to teach zwag basic mechanics of the game and knows zwag is going to understand whatever terminology or pointers he gives out rather quickly. He can focus on more niche matchup specific knowledge and in depth stuff which is what Zwag needs (usually losing to Riven for example. Hopefully Alan can bridge that gap. I usually see Alan do well against rivens.) He knows a lot of stuff about the game, but he doesn't play anywhere near as much Teemo as the rank 1 Alan. So Alan provides that unique knowledge set he needs of indepth Teemo stuff. The only conflict I could foresee is Zwag was a mage champ main for forever, so his playstyle and decision making is prob a bit different from Alan, and he'll have to adjust.
@@mattjohnson8777 and not just any mage, xerath, which is INFAMOUS for needing to stay really really far back and play extremely safe in high elo, which means Alan will need to really encourage him to take more aggressive positioning and posturing
@@a.v.y8331 yeah, for sure, one of the first things I noticed was around 13:00 Alan mentioned that his death wasn’t as valuable as others so sacrificing rather than sitting back so far would’ve been more useful. As a Xerath main myself I can see the instincts for Zwag kick in as xer would be able to be useful from far back in that fight.
more like zwag smurfed too much in silver and now he's got the silver mentality and does way more mistakes in higher elo, he usually only uploads games where he plays well but since this one was with a coach he had to upload it even if he didn't play very well
Imo he's trying a different play style so isn't as competent at it. Zwag play style doesn't think "it's worth for my team for me to die to get Riven's flash". Zwag is hyper carry every game 1v9.

I love this because I have been the carry teemo almost 70% of the time when my teammates bitch I picked teemo. I play a lotike you before I got back into your videos but I’ve picked up little things you do that have upped my game. Now you add this dude to the mix…. I see hope
Does Alan only recommend going Teemo top, or is there a way to learn Teemo jungle as well? It has been nice to see you go bot and mid when pushed into a fill pick. Jungle would be nice to see as well, but I don't know if it's viable at all

Playing aggressively for kills against a riven or snowball match up is coin flipping. You’re betting you’re better and can out play them and the jg. It’s very risky vs the value you get from being ahead. Realistically long as you farm good your shrooms will still have impact and zone control. Riven if she gets gold from you she buys items that make her much harder to kill and survive. It’s a losing battle at that point. Teemo can go even and outscale riven without risking her stat checking your team.
Glad I’m not the only one that sees this! Both coaching videos the same so far. Not listening, talk over the coach, do what you want anyway, then make excuses. This what happens when you’re worried more about individual stats than team playing.

Yeah, this was the first coaching video I've watched and he's really good. He would make a good life coach as well.
Alan is really a smart player. He is chill. He is a Teemo wikipedia. A really good streamer that does not have as much view as he deserves imo.
