But by falling asleep in his arms it shows us that the trust she has in him (at that time) was completely sincere. This small scene made all the other ones feel bittersweet to me because the pain at time of the break-up would be inevitable.

This is such a sweet scene. Even though Joy was always more outwardly expressive I have no doubt Sungjae liked Joy just as much as she liked him. In the scene prior to this one Sungjae actually says that he's shy about showing his feelings on camera and that he feels the same way as Joy but he doesn't want to say it out loud. If this had just been acting for him then he wouldn't have admitted that openly and instead just played along. Instead, we have Joy and Sungjae having honest conversations and often holding back a bit from showing everything. Sungjae even said in an interview that he and Joy knew that some fans were worried so they tried to be careful. Sure he wasn't as outwardly expressive which was frustrating (and I agree he could've joked around less and handled things better at times), but if you look beyond the surface his feelings were very much real.
I KNOW RIGHTT PPL HAVE TO WATCH ALL THEIR EPISODES TO SEE HOW MUCH THEY HAVE GROWN FOND OF EACHOTHER ITS NOT ONE SIDED AT ALL. From their second meeting for jyo to get her ears pierced, ISTG sungjae already fell for her and I was thinking deeper than she did for him at that time 😂♥️ but since he has melodies and established fandom at that time already he didn't want his fans to get mad because you know they hate on joy maybe... So they took their time on wgm and didn't force too much like skin ship or kiss lmao they did everything naturally and that's why I respect these two so much as individuals
Yes there’s even a moment in the very first episode where Sungjae looks at Joy and it’s in slow motion, and you can tell already how much he liked her. I think it was during the bowling episode where Sungjae admits that his first meeting with Joy was one of his favorite moments because he couldn’t forget how it made his heart flutter. Sungjae was definitely very much aware of worried fans, and he also said that he was careful because he knew Joy’s parents were watching. I think Joy and Sungjae were very respectful of each other and the situation they were in, and even though there were frustrating moments where they couldn’t express everything, it’s clear that their feelings were mutual. This scene being one where their chemistry and affection for each other is very clear.
I mean look at the warmth and affection in their eyes when they look at each other , and the level of comfort they have while being together. When you don't have to explain the other person, but everything feels right. They genuinely loved each other, this cannot be fake . Trust me. :(

They're a younger pairing but they're both natural. You can tell that they at least have friendship for one another. Other young couples were pretty uncomfortable to watch because of awkwardness. This is such a sweet scene. Even though Joy was always more outwardly expressive I have no doubt Sungjae liked Joy just as much as she liked him. In the scene prior to this one Sungjae actually says that he's shy about showing his feelings on camera and that he feels the same way as Joy but he doesn't want to say it out loud. If this had just been acting for him then he wouldn't have admitted that openly and instead just played along. Instead, we have Joy and Sungjae having honest conversations and often holding back a bit from showing everything. Sungjae even said in an interview that he and Joy knew that some fans were worried so they tried to be careful. Sure he wasn't as outwardly expressive which was frustrating (and I agree he could've joked around less and handled things better at times), but if you look beyond the surface his feelings were very much real.
I KNOW RIGHTT PPL HAVE TO WATCH ALL THEIR EPISODES TO SEE HOW MUCH THEY HAVE GROWN FOND OF EACHOTHER ITS NOT ONE SIDED AT ALL. From their second meeting for jyo to get her ears pierced, ISTG sungjae already fell for her and I was thinking deeper than she did for him at that time 😂♥️ but since he has melodies and established fandom at that time already he didn't want his fans to get mad because you know they hate on joy maybe... So they took their time on wgm and didn't force too much like skin ship or kiss lmao they did everything naturally and that's why I respect these two so much as individuals
Yes there’s even a moment in the very first episode where Sungjae looks at Joy and it’s in slow motion, and you can tell already how much he liked her. I think it was during the bowling episode where Sungjae admits that his first meeting with Joy was one of his favorite moments because he couldn’t forget how it made his heart flutter. Sungjae was definitely very much aware of worried fans, and he also said that he was careful because he knew Joy’s parents were watching. I think Joy and Sungjae were very respectful of each other and the situation they were in, and even though there were frustrating moments where they couldn’t express everything, it’s clear that their feelings were mutual. This scene being one where their chemistry and affection for each other is very clear.

@@dummy5499 Apparently when you go on the show, because they know that feelings can actually develop they make the celebrities stay apart for awhile after the show ends so they don't actually stay together. This is probably cause the feelings they develop are from the show rather than naturally developed outside of the show. Some also just stop contacting each other after as well. 🥲

They're a younger pairing but they're both natural. You can tell that they at least have friendship for one another. Other young couples were pretty uncomfortable to watch because of awkwardness.
