    This Rose Body Cream is a thick lotion that absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling soft. Skin-loving butters like avocado and deodorized cocoa thicken the cream, while lightweight oils like sunflower and squalane ensure there is no greasy feel. It's scented with Fairy Tale Rose Fragrance Oil, a sweet yet sophisticated floral with notes of geranium and vanilla. A touch of Rose Pearl Mica gives it a soft pink hue.

    I would love to purchase more products from Brambleberry. However, even without this virus thing, it literally can take three weeks to get my order to Kentucky. If I didn't have to wait so long for shipping (which of course, given current events, is taking longer than the usual time anyway.) I won't see my order for over a month. The products are quality, but I don't have time to wait three weeks for an order, which is why I have to get things elsewhere. I seriously have to make a dedicated "brambleberry supply list" and put that in, knowing it can take a month to get to me sometimes. I really wish this would be addressed.

    • @marie0383
      @marie0383 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I agree! I live in Oklahoma and the products and pricing are great, but so NOT worth the wait to get them. Even during this time other suppliers are still getting their products to me at a decent time.

    • @SunshinePearl
      @SunshinePearl 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      So true! What other suppliers do you use? I use Elements Bath and Body. They ship super quickly! But they don't have everything I need and can be a little pricey in some products.

    • @angelamarroquin9669

      I’m five hours south of BrambleBerry and it’s taking three weeks. I am very fortunate that Costco is 2 miles away for Olive, Coconut and Avocado Oil, and I just found a local supplier about an hour away for all the rest of by base ingredients except for Sodium Lactate. I also shop at Elements Bath and Body, Rustic Escentuals and BeScented.

    I love this recipe and have made it several times.. I have tried other fragrance oils and color combinations, usually successfully, but am having some problems with the mica falling out. I've tried blending longer and it doesn't always seem to help. Is there a temp that mica should be added to form a better suspension? Do you blend at a high speed or lower one? Sometimes even if I don't get good color the color falls to the bottom. Any ideas?

    What can I substitute the avocado butter for? There’s no avocado butter where I live and shipping costs from overseas are just unreasonable expensive to order it for just one project. What would you suggest to use instead?

    • @MyNameisMessenger
      @MyNameisMessenger 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Shea Butter? That’s pretty easy to get a hold of. According to an article I read, that’s a more common substitute.

    What is the chemical name for emulsifying wax, the reason I ask is because I'm a seller of hair care products, and one of the items that I sell most of is a hair serum that contains cyclomethicone and dimethicone recently a colleague of mine told me that if I mixed alcohol in the mixture it would be easier to apply on hair and not as greasy, but unfortunately the alcohol would not mix well with the silicones, but I ran on a Blog somewhere that if I mixed an emulsifier it would blend the three products together alcohol and silicone what do you think?

    Hi, is the avocado butter unrefined? Thx. And can i skip the squalane oil?

    • @episodesfreak
      @episodesfreak 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I make this recipe all the time!! It's my favourite moisturiser I use jojoba oil instead of squalane cause I can't get my hands on squalane oil to be honest. It's the best moisturiser I ever made. So I think yes, you can substitute the squalane with something else like jojoba for example.

    How long does it take for it to be fully ready? I like that you give ideas to make with the new collection! Can’t wait for more!!

      As soon as it's completely cooled down to room temperature, it will thicken and be ready for use. When I make a lotion I usually let it sit for about 6 hours after packaging and it's ready for use.

    I have a question, would a blend of shea butter, Jojoba oil, aloe leaf and essential oils need an emulsifier?

    • @episodesfreak
      @episodesfreak 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Water based liquids and oil based liquids usually need an emulsifier to become one and create a lovely consistency.

    Your final solution looks quite runny. Does it solidify or become semi solid after few hours of being in the jars? Thanks

      Yes it does! I made this recipe multiple times, it cools to a very thick beautiful cream! For me, it take about an hour or an hour and a half for it to fully cool.

      Vitamin doesn't work as a preservative. They have tutorial on preservatives on their sight

    Question about the preservative: How long would the shelf life be for this body cream without the preservative? I'm considering making a small batch just for myself (not selling or giving to anyone) so if I use it pretty quickly, I wonder if I can get away with not using it. At my own risk, of course.

      I'd say two or three days. Invest in a reliable preservative, it's very important. Also, you should always measure the pH.

    i am not understanding why you have to use all 3 products to make anything for the body, like Perservatives, Emlusyflyers and Stearic Acid found a product that has all 3 in it. Can I use that instead of all 3 of these different products in anything like Body Butter Hand Cream and lotions?
