Stopping negative rumination can have numerous benefits for both mental and physical health. This harmful habit can lead to increased stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as physical symptoms such as headaches and stomach issues. By breaking the cycle of negative thoughts, individuals can experience improved mood, better focus, and a greater sense of overall well-being. Additionally, practicing positive thinking can help improve relationships, boost self-esteem, and increase resilience in the face of challenges. By actively working to stop negative rumination, individuals can cultivate a more positive mindset and lead a happier, healthier life.

Retroactive Jealousy. I learned some things about my partner’s past that I never asked to know, and they have unearthed so many deep fears and intrusive thoughts within me.
I feel ridiculous and am not a possessive person, but I feel that this strikes at the heart of something really deep for me.
My partner told me some things that put me into shock and seem to have unearthed a lot of my early childhood abandonment wounds, as well as a lot of religious fears that I grew up with. It made me feel that I did not recognize him. I am working on the abandonment issues on my own (your hypnosis session on this channel has helped me immensely!), because that is my responsibility alone. I absolutely do not want to judge my partner for his past, but it’s like my brain is now in the habit of fearing and thinking about and ruminating about it. I can feel my poor brain constantly trying to predict where the next “thing” is coming from that’s going to put me into shock, to make me feel totally terrified and alone, again.
A lot of these thoughts are just mental habit, now. It’s exhausting. I have processed so much of the actual trauma and issue that I feel was at the heart of this period of my life.
I am ashamed to be suffering with this, it is costing me my peace and happiness, and I am ready to let it go. I imagine I am not the only one suffering with this, but I’m sure many of us who are are too ashamed and embarrassed to admit it… so this is my vote towards producing materials focused on retroactive jealousy, or insecure attachment, or quite simply just releasing things that other people have done that have nothing to do with you.
Thank you for the amazing work you have done. I can feel my heart healing day by day, and your channel has helped me so much with that.
