If the race was over 3 furlongs I'd be backing golden Pal, but the fact that Winter Power beat it out of site over 5 furlongs at York puts me off slightly, so i'll probably go for Nature Strip with a saver on the reverse f/c the two of them.
He was the master at Ascot today. What a horse team and trainer. He's been a brilliant Ambassador for Australian racing while here in the UK. Group 1 at Ascot even the weather was gd here.

Golden Pal has drifted alot , 7/4 originally now out to 7/2 and at those odds is worth a "saver" or insurance on any bet on the Mighty Aussie Nature Strip , its pretty obvious but i think the foreign sprinters are well ahead of the Irish/English ones , i expect these two to battle it out in the final furlong
Winx never got out of second gear,the key to her longevity was not over doing her once she coasted up the front no need to whip her when she's comfortable in front she could of won by alot more in most races but that's how she won 33 in a row. She would of put 2-3 lengths + on any horse over the mile to 10 furlongs, she was a active mare didn't have 10 starts and retire was having 10 starts a year Winx knew exactly where her opposition was and only did what she had to do if you think any horse in the world at that time would of beat her you don't understand how good she really was, we don't need to go overseas to prove anything the prize money and everything here is just fine she didn't need to prove anything. She didn't even change gears when benbatl was trying to go past her.
See Wesley Ward has kicked Frankie off Golden Pal, the market on the front two is ridiculous considering both of them have never won on UK soil Man of promise & Lazuli are interesting runners and could now be anything, never write off the ''boys in Blue'' at this meeting.
absolutely hate Australian racing and their fans, with their bunch of handicap horse. Nature Strip won one of the worse Kingstand in recent years, Winx was scared to challenge the best (Enable). That being said, a huge admirer of Chris Waller, seems to be a genuine and honest guy. I wish trainers in England would be like him
Sorry mate with your 3 horse fields and $100 prize money, Winx would of beat Enable she was joging in most her wins it takes her over a kilometre to slow down after the post she never tired out if anything she got stronger the further she went has a unbelievable motor you should of seen her in real life she would be way to strong late for enable would of loved to see it tho I'm not a hater but come on if she was British she would be up there with Frankel, but because she's Australian it's beat nobody?
