I’m always rooting for my Alma Mater, but I think visually, LSU edged them out. LSU costumes made everyone look exactly the same and didn’t distract from the formations or the routine. The hats were on point.
Great routine, well deserving of 2nd place! I think there were a bit too many visuals, and where LSU beat everyone out was their entire routine being A) Foundationally clean and strong, a homage to not only MJ but hip-hop, and B)They MOVED. Their wow factor wasn't tricks or visuals, it was their use of stage and how clean their formations were. They were DANCING, and I think that will forever score higher than tricks and visuals.
I loved this routine but it’s co-ed, which doesn’t feel totally level. Did it kick ass and give me chills? Absolutley. But it’s like trying to compete an all-girls cheer team against a co-ed team.
Just curious, did UNLV perform before LSU? A lot of people are saying in the comments that they won hands down. Wondering where The Lady Tigers were in the line up.
No disrespect to LSU... but UNLV won. Without a doubt. This is a much more difficult routine. They landed all their jumps and executed all of their highlight moments perfectly. Well done, guys❤
@@courtneytraynham1110True. I’m just saying is being more technical the only thing the judges are looking for? Is it all based on being “technical” Both are amazing, and different routines. I’m asking you is hard hitting, and being a technical is all you need? UNLV might be more “technical” but they seem repetitive every year. LSU thinks outside of the box, and yeah their transitions are a bit slower, I feel their choreography got them their win. At the end of the day I think the judges know what they’re doing.
I think the tall black guy they put front and center of the pyramids lacked a ton of control. He does not look like he has had the quality of training the other dancers have. Don’t think he should have been placed there. LSU definitely beat this one.
This talented team won last year no doubt! But 2024 hip hop belongs to LSU :) Both teams been killing it for years

Phenomenal!! Amazingly Creative and ALL IN STEP!!! Not copied but created!! ❤❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🎉🎉♥️♥️
This was amazing! But tbh I think LSU might have the edge this year ❤
That was phenomenally one of the best hip hop choreos out to date🔥😮💨
it was meh at best
@@princesspumpkinpantybetter than LSU tbh and cleaner
@@qxcence3201well the judges didn’t think so. LSU deserved their win.
This was amazing!! Great job 🎉
Damb, no other team even came close--total domination. Go UNLV Rebels. Peace & love every1. Muah xoxox Las Vegas, NV USA 😘😍🥰🤭🤗🙏👼😇🌈🌻🌼🎶💫💞🍎🎰🇺🇲🌎🥂🍻💪🐶😺😻👍
LSU I think might take this year in my opinion
In a nutschell, LSU's choregography is superior.

I was thinking the same thing.
Without seeing any other teams yet, they won! Hands down. ❤❤
I love Minnesota!
LEFT MY JAW DROPPED FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW❤❤❤❤❤
top 3 if not # 1 for sure

THAT IS SO GOOD
The slo mo omg so good
Good job
they don’t mess around
has to be top 3 no way
yeah they're 2nd going into finals
The music choice was not engaging and the changes in tones/beats was unrelateable. Moves and transitions were astounding
Compared to the other performers, it was lack luster
LSU routine and music was better..

So in order to win a team needs to have difficult jumps? Define more “difficult” please.
The proof is in the pudding. All you have to do is watch the winner. Their routine wasn't half as technical as this one. Sorry. Deal with it. 🤷♀️
