Hey Doc, wanted to see if I could find a way to help with the red gems on the lapel pin. Red crushed glass/glass sand might do the trick for you. As tedious as it may be, they could probably get small enough then and really add some texture and depth to the pin. Thanks for doing what you do and I hope you keep on trucking my good sir.
Hello. Two questions: 1. You mentioned Vallejo primer doesn't sand well. What sandable primer do you usually use? 2. Do you use any flow improver or retarder when airbrushing model color? I always have issues with it and game color clogging the airbrush, and I think that part of the reason at least, is that it's drying up inside.
That... was a lot of decals. I think it rivals the Enterprise B kit you did a few years back in terms of surface area covered by decals. The color of the suit looks it came out pretty well though; and it is a shame about the "tie pin" decal being white.
So many decals... Looks fantastic though. The green you ended up with is great as well. I normally am loathe to suggest their stuff due to the price, but GW has a great paint for doing jewels now days.
Yes, I'm aware I accidentally called him The Joker in the beginning.

Alclad primer when it needs sanding. Model color needs to be mixed often when spraying, else it settles. Give the pot a stir every minute or so.
@@ThePaintingClinic Do you use acrylic thinner? I tried mixing this with Tamiya X-20A and it clogs up quick. Any suggestions?

Have you tried out the mission models primer yet?
Yes. It works well. It better considering the price.
