This is the story of the dabke dance. In the old days they used to have mud homes and every year they had to put fresh mud on the roof and pack it by stumping on it. Since this was a very difficult work then every time someone wanted to do his roof the neighborhood used get together and stump on the mud and help. After a while they had a system of doing it and in time it became the dabke dance which means stumping the ground. That is why in this dance you see them stump the ground with their feet.
I love how they just have something rude to say about all the other dabke but when it’s the Lebanese dabke they say it’s the best like no all of them are great in there own way
I am seriously annoyed like that fact that I saw my country really broke my heart( Iraq 🇮🇶). Every country has there unique style with them. It’s not right to judge someone else’s like that.
I know it's a bit mean. Because dancing is according to clothing/climate and culture And each culture is slightly different with unique aspects. Like you will never say russian folk dancing is better than French ballet because each one is unique

I’m Palestinian, Dabke is originally Palestinian/Lebanese. I feel like those two perfect it more. I did see iraqi dabke when I was in wadi rum that was amazing though! It didn’t look like the one posted in this video. All in all they were all nice and it is bias cause the guy is Lebanese.

The first video wasn't Saudi Debka. Yes the video was probably filmed in Saudi Arabia but the people were from Eastern Syria (Deir El Zur). Their music and dialect is close to Iraqis.

My mom was watching this on my device and I noticed those little comments. Just because your Lebanese doesn’t mean the Lebanese dabke is the best! Don’t be so biased it’s very rude honestly. And the fact that you put 10 clips or something for Lebanese and one for the rest is very harsh! You don’t deserve any likes or subscribes if your gonna be bias. That’s just rude as hell.
