A&M late night tip was on point
If this is the entire battle,AAMU clearly took it. Excellent tone and sound. But before you totally write off A&T Tubas as bad consider this.Traditionally this section has not placed a high priority on sectional fanfares. Priorities are show music, spirit, stands, directors' choice THEN fanfares-if you have time (rarity). Plus the basslines in their band arrangements are far from being static. Complex runs, octave splits, ascends, descends, and slap accents are the norm and been that way for years. Even moreso now with Dr. Jones' pen. You can randomly pick any A&T video and hear most of these dynamics in the basslines played in the pocket. AAMU your section is tight so my rant is not directed at you. Its more for the young ones easily impressed by dotted quarter note, eighth note combos played loudly. A great section does sooo much more- but you guys already know that.
Dat first pedal on late night tip #perfection

A&T tubas was pumping during that whole game tho. Don't know what their directors did cause the 2013 season A&T tubas sucked but this season they was on point.
