Faouzia always writes her own songs. She is an engineer and can play violin, piano, and guitar. She speaks 3 languages. She has had classical training in instruments but is completely self-taught when it comes to vocals. She is AMAZING.

Born in Morocco, raised in Canada. I am sure speaking Arabic, French and English growing up helped her with control of her voice. She’s been playing piano since an early age. And some guitar and violin. So talented. Thanks for reacting.

And the number of views to this reaction tell you why you’ve never heard of her.
She’s wasn’t on the Disney Channel.
She didn’t do a TV talent show.
      Fame is a chancey thing.

She has just stepped up her career. While doing all this she's a straight A computer engineering student. Just finished he first world tour, made her first album. This song has over 85 million streams. John Legend joined her on Minefields and has over 130 million steams. She's right were she wants to be. She us also a classically train pianist.

She's a vocal enigma. I have loved her for years, and cannot get enough of her voice.

Faouzia is one of a kind. Her use of Arabic musical influences is spectacular. Her 'stripped' (live) versions are always better.😎

Her name is pronounced Fo-zee-ya. She is Moroccan and Canadian. She never took vocal lessons. She listened to her favorite singers as a kid and thought herself how to do it but better. She learned all her singing by ear. Very impressive. She can also sing in English, Moroccan, and French. You should do more reactions to her.

She is simply the best. This is the best version of this song, the studio version is more poppy, missing some of the vocal acrobatics.. I have seen her live once and met her twice. All she does is AMAZING! Faouzia is also a very humble and authentic person. I'm 60, listen to all types of music and she is easily in my top 3 favorite artist.

Reactions to this song are literally my favorite thing to watch on TH-cam.
Dynamic is the only word I could use to even remotely describe this song. It’s one thing, than another, then switches it to again.
But she switches between styles and so seemlessly and her control is almost insane

She's originally from morocco raised in Canada. She writes her own music she plays many music instruments, she has a duet with john legend "minfields" she also collaborated with david getta. On top of that she a clever student studying Engennering

From moroccan parents born in Morocco, moved in to Canada, she’s 22 years old, the crazy thing is that she had never learned how to sing and she wrote all of her songs 🤯 she has a powerful voice + perfect arabic runs and melisma’s. I love her

This the reaction of people who really appreciate beauty and artistic uniqueness. Welcome to the world of Faouzia. She is the most underrated young talented song writer and singer in our time, yet she is the diva of the 21st century. Born in Morocco, and raised in Canada, but as a lioness she is writing her story alone, by her talent, her voice, her music and lyrics. She was ignored for more than three years, but had millions of followers in Ticktock and TH-cam. If you want to know more, try "Elon" or "You don't even know me", or any of her stripped version of her first album. A very good listening music.

Oh, I’m going to love seeing you go down this rabbit hole 😊 She’s really good and unique in her way of using her Arabic heritage in her music… My first introduction was RIP Love (a year after I still can hear it running through my head…). her genius song Elon (not always easy to find, but try 😉) Can’t say enough good about her… (also like I have a lot of good things to say about Angelina Jordan, Aurora, Sigrid, Sissel, Sivert Høyem (Madrugada), Lara Fabian and more…)

There is no studio version of "Elon" at this time... simply an encore presentation after the credits roll on a pandemic concert from 2020. Here's the time coded YT link -- th-cam.com/video/vnCi_QV2J48/w-d-xo.html

She has soooooooooo many great songs... I mean soooooo many! However I have a request as you have not done one of her songs in a long time I don't think. I would love for you to do her latest song Fur Elise the live version. It's on her channel. It's sooooooo incredibly good!!🥰 Thank you for the fantastic content!!! Cheers from Ontario, Canada 🍁

SHE WROTE IT HERSELF. She really has an elevated poetic soul. She won at said below by a fan , a world songwriting contest at age 16 only.. She is, in her unique artistic abilities, one- of-a-kind powerhouse singer, who, in the same time did infuse her songs with the Arab-African musicality and voice characteristics from her Moroccan culture of origin. We, Moroccan Women & men, and your fans from all over the world are so proud and fond of you, for beautifully touching and awakening our hearts & souls. Every time we listen to your unique songs, your out of this world voice, and to your sublime songwriting, we get to enjoy what magical art is. All our love girl.

Faouzia has never signed up for any talent shows or whatever tv shows. She was a student singer who wrote her own songs and shared them on social media between her university classes. 'tears of gold' was released during this period.
She has never got trained to sing. She grew up learning piano, and she learned to sing by listening to the music of world singers

FOH-ZEE-UH - You can listen to her pronounce it herself: th-cam.com/video/DzfvLtj-45w/w-d-xo.html
This version is the best version I think - the production version is excellent but it's not about the vocals, it's about the vibe: th-cam.com/video/XszK-TDzMnQ/w-d-xo.html
She also does it justice live - my two favorites: th-cam.com/video/rE4OGB1aOdA/w-d-xo.html (darker)
th-cam.com/video/7uY6d01JZiE/w-d-xo.html (lighter but even more control)
I hope you'll do more Faouzia! Keep doing these "Stripped" versions - "How It All Works Out" or "Bad Dreams" next!
