    hi there i made one of those applicators and it works fairly good
    but applicator needs to be closer to the the place you are static grassing
    and also maybe if you break up the clumps of the static grass before putting into the applicator
    and yes the more expensive ones are stronger but if on a budget the home made one does a reasonable job if what i said above is followed and what you have done with the layout looks great

    That was a great exercise, it as wasn't a complete failure. Real static grass applicators can be very expensive, you could be on to a big saving here perhaps some more R&D ? Your layout is coming on 🤗

    Hi NB. I suspect the home-made grass applicator was a little lacking in voltage. I rather like your method for creating the embankments. BTW: what was the orange & white device at the bottom of most of your shots in the video?

      Yes you could be right, I did check the batteries and they seemed ok. The orange an white thing is a controller for one of the tracks.
