Him using the word allow shows he has reverence knowing Gods power and that he is in control. Just like Satan had to ask God before he touched Job, Job 1:11-12, "God allowed". Everything goes through Gods hand and he allows us because he has ultimate control and power. Everything is already written, so therefore he allows it.

Your confusing God allowing things to happen, with God causing things to happen. Two different things. By denying God allowing things to happen you deny the sovereignty of God, which is a fundamental attribute of God's character. Which is in a great way to deny God.

I see what youre saying. Thats not how I was necessarily trying to put it. Essentially we make choices and God honors those choices if you will. Good or bad cause we have free will. So yes he allows things to happen but he doesnt allow things in order to show us things. He uses things we have done and works it together for good. If that makes sense

I believe what your alluding to is that God doesn't "need" to allow things to happen in order to teach us something. Which is 100% true! He can use any means as he wishes to teach. And his allowance of things is one of those means.
Now as for free will, there is no such thing as choosing to do good. Man can only choose evil. Because we already made the choice in the garden of eden! Any good a man does, if that man is a saint is goodness that christ that liveth in him, doeth thru him. And if that man is not a saint it is goodness that God causes him to do by restraining the sinner and causing him to act in a way that is contrary to his depraved nature. Either way God is always the "cause" of "all" good things that occur on the earth. "To God alone be the glory"

I believe in prophecy but for example, say somebody prophecied you were going to get a new job, and that new job comes calling. It is up to YOU to make the decision to accept that job out of obedience. God never wanted evil, there was never supposed to be sin, but he used that sin and turned it for good cause he is full of grace and mercy. I appreciate your comment even if its just banter. Feel free to DM me on instagram if you have other thoughts, link in bio
