If you were legitimately fooled by this video, I can only imagine how often you are tricked into believing actual subtle jokes online.
This video is not intended to deceive you, it's supposed to be extremely obvious that it's a parody. But this is not the norm. A LOT of people get great entertainment from tricking unsuspecting/naive internet users into believing ridiculous bullshit. The more ridiculous a thing is that they trick you into believing, the more entertaining it is for them.
You should be on constant lookout for people trying to make a fool of you online. Maybe you're just young and not an internet veteran, but trust me there's a lot of people who will laugh their ass off for successfully deceiving you.
In the case of this video, Shaq is intending to laugh _with_ you, not _at_ you. So he made the joke as obvious as he could. If you've seen his other videos, you should know he's always extremely concise and immediately gets straight to the point every time. So the extremely long winded intro monologue, delivered in an obviously sarcastic tone, should have been a dead giveaway.
And the number of times he says "let's get RIGHT into it!" and then immediately goes off on a tangent instead of getting into it.... Come on
Especially the time he goes "so let's get RIGHT into it!" and then literally 5 seconds later says "Before we get into it....." lmfao. Promptly spending an entire minute asking you to like/sub/smash that bell icon, which is something he never does. And then AGAIN he says "now let's get right into it!"
