I’d prefer smaller structures dotted about and the structures have little secrets to discover, these big structures are completely unnecessary and would just be overwhelming
@@Postsager exactly, it would make the world feel a little more lived in/old if you could find little huts, maybe at most a decent size ruined house or castle tower. Otherwise the only large structures should be the ones that already exist, although maybe adding different village types (ie normal villages, then forts with a defensive wall, and city villages with a small castle in the middle and some more defenses but not much larger than existing villages, changes that aren’t huge but swap up the type of structure) would help too. I would say the world needs more structures but it doesn’t need massive castles all over the place, just maybe some small ruins here and there and a slightly larger castle village instead of some of the existing ones. Keeping structures spread out helps the player to be able to find neat things but also their own space to build

Oh my gosh... Looney toons was by far one of my all time favourite cartoons growing up. The Road Runner and the Coyote was an absolute classic

I literally downloaded this modpack last night and was trying to find some content as some kind of stepping stone for what to do in the mod, and now you start this series!
This looks amazing, I can't wait to see more! Making the Illager camp into a base could result in some really gorgeous wool builds for pavilion tents :D
That big bug is actually a neutral mob, they hunt spiders. You can even tame them!
And you can make a better elytra with their drops, it gives 3 armor and more durability.
@@GustavoOliverXD I also think the upgraded elytra can take more enchantments than just mending and unbreaking

I just started this recently and spawned in a mineshaft! Such a refreshing twist to the game.

The waystone tower reminds me of the sheika towers in Breath of the wild. Which are used to update/unlock the map.

To me they are more a reference to Diablo 2 and 3. Those games use waystones in the same way they work here.
The towers with the waystones i think are a reference to "The legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild". I mean idk the other games but thats the most fitting game i know that has way points. (Zelda BOTW has teleportation to the towers too)

@@AmadeusDoesStuff yeah i played it too (100 deaths in 30 minutes because of my spawn), then made a new world and got to like the first 2 or 3 hours of playing. I literally just had i think stone tools and an elytra. I dont get good spawns unfortunatly. I made my own 1.12.2 modpack just yesterday i called it the "OP Modpack lol idk im stupid" (very creative) and have full gem armor (op) and 50 hearts and resistance 7 permanent. I cant die. And a villager traded fake nether stars for a stack of emeralds and i fell for it 5 times before realizing :,) my life is done. Btw this text is COMPLETELY useless

I'm wondering how much RAM you use with the pack because I want to play this pack but I don't know if my 8gb of RAM laptop can handle. I don't plan on using any shaders, or recording of course, but I just want it to be able to run semi-smoothly so I'm able to paly along with you.
On the curseforge page they recommend 6gb, so 8 might not be enough with other programs and windows. You could try with 4 or 5 allocated since you won’t be using shaders.
It is playable. I have 8GB RAM too, and when I allocate 6GB I get good enough performance for it to be playable. And there is also a fabric version, it is different ofcourse, but it should give you better performance.
To me it looks like 4gb would work al tho that would be if it was 1.7
With newer versions 6gb is required everywhere :/

Literally been trying to put this mod on my computer with optifine since last week
a week? it takes 2 minutes loll, just need to download curseforge launcher then search for the name of the modpack on the launcher and install it. Then download optifine and put it in the modpack's mod folder

Same. Can't get optifine to work with it. Tried a few different versions of the mod pack and optifine with no luck. Just crashes at the final point of loading up the game
@@poilmsj just have to make sure the version of the modpack is the same as optifine. also make sure you give the pack enough ram

Install ore excavation into the modpack through files
I think not doing so would be better. Because the modpack author's already must have thought of this, and adjusted the meta according to that.
Yeah you already get tons of free ores just from chest looting which is very common in this pack.

Well I think the reason people say these things is because Minecraft by yourself is a very lack luster game so adding all this stuff gives loads of goals that are extrinsic motivation
I wanna address the cyberpunk comment, of course it was a failure because the marketing was way to good, they were rushed, they custom modeled everything, created shaders, and wrote a story, it couldnt live up to our expectations because we set them too high
@@locustthm6080 that wasn’t my issue with it, for me I was disappointed that the damn game simply didn’t work for like a solid month and the mechanics were broken as shit
@@kimhyunwoo8983 whereas that is true, the game devs were being rushed alot, due to incredible marketing people wanted it faster, then the game devs had to cut smaller projects which helped with bugs to work on main fame shit, its honestly a great fame just bad carry out
