For those skiers that have never been to Snowbird,Utah you get an idea of the approach along the Cirque. Notice the angle of the drop in on the right hand side. The further you go along the Cirque the angle gets lower as you approach the end. This is some serious stuff. Snowbird give some skiers a whole new understanding of the double black Diamond rating considering some ares in New England have groomed runs with groomed approach rated expert. The Bird is the real deal. Also check out Alta which is just up the road and connected by lifts to Snowbird. Over 5,000 skiable acres combined.
