I saw 4bt Cummins engines in ebay going for about 3K. A pick-up conversion could cost around 4K, I believe. Theres a video by jethes (I think is his screen name here) in an F150, he has a 4bt and a 4speed junk-yard tranny, he gets 29 MPG ( like a Honda CVCC) and the power/torque of a Big Block Chevy (or higher). His 4bt is rated at 105 horsepower w/turbo. Wish I could afford a 4bt conversion for my '95 S-10......
i now own 3 international very old trucks. i am 56 so hang on it will come. i finally have the butterfly hood model that is the best looking to me. here is a tip. did you know that in chicago was a company named chicago cab mfg co. they built cabs for so many brands even maybe the b model macks. i did not know this myself. very little info on the company.
The engine was tilted in the original bread truck it came out of for frame clearance. He could of used a different adapter and mounted the engine level.

this is one of the most awesome builds I have ever seen great job
Very nice looking truck I like the choice of engine as well I think it would look even better with a short single axle daul wheel flatbed trailer.

How hard was the swap? Any upgrades or wire harnesses. Super nice truck .

Awesome truck, I just wish it had a fifth wheel plate to complete the look! Lol
with a little 4bt i'll bet that thing gets pretty decent mileage too.
