I stopped watching American Idol when Pia was unfairly voted off. She’s proved she was obviously the outright winner. She’s not only very beautiful but has a magical powerful voice. I hope she becomes the top female singer in the world
Brian Piccolo First of all, whether or not she’s beautiful (or ugly) has NO bearing on her talent! Linking her beauty to her being a winner was so incredibly stupid of you to say. And second, she uses her vibrato so excessively that it prevents me from listening to her for more than a minute. She has a rich tenor to her voice that I love, but I’m puzzled why no one has told her to pull back the vibrato in her lower register. For me, she’s better than average, but not phenomenal .
Because she try to hard to.imitate Celine Dion and Celine already exist, Barbra Streisand always say that the key of success in a singing career is to have your OWN sound! That is very important!
She's not the only best voice..... there are other good ones, just now a days no... Idol isn't fair though these days people who do deserve to win aren't

Pia has one of the great female voices of our time. Fernando is amazing. I saw them in person with David at The Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, twice. His shows are terrific.
I have ‘known’ David Foster for many years and associate him mainly with his compositions, arrangements, and performances with Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion. Until a couple days ago I had never heard of Pia, and after listening to a number of her songs, she reminds me so much of Celine! They have similar style voices imo, and I hadn’t realized that she was an ‘American Idol’ contestant until reading some comments. I gather that she was eliminated and am very surprised - such a soft, sweet, angelic, and yet strong and emotional voice!
You know your getting older when this stuff moves you to tears, but I should add tears of joy... an amazing sound, an amazing woman (yes i am biased lol) ... and perfectly performed by ALL (ok there all fantastic )

@@mortenhansen1910 - You are correct, my apologies. I had "The Prayer" mixed up with Foster's other song "Because We Believe". Andrea Bocelli wrote the Italian lyrics for "Because We Believe", and Foster's daughter, Amy, wrote the English lyrics. Thanks for catching that.
