For those of you having issues with the audio due to the Dynamic thing, I'm sorry but I don't know how to fix it :c I'll comment here if I find a solution
As for the Dynamic thing - I've found that it only gives me this issue if I'm using a portable version or a pre-cracked version. I fixed my Dynamic Link issue by downloading the trial of CC, and then replacing the amtlb.dll file with the full version (you can find these for download via Tumblr) and it worked just fine. Adobe is really cracking down on CS6, as it's their most popular product. I never found a solution to fix CS6's Dynamic Link issue (even with the trial version, and adjusting the amtlb.dll file) unfortunately. However, Photoshop CC is very similar to CS6 - especially the timeline. I'm very tight on money and cannot afford to spend $800+ on CS6 itself, nor can I afford to spend $10-20 a month for a program that I only use 6-7 times a year. If you can afford it, I would highly recommend buying CS6 with a student discount, or pay the monthly fee to use the Creative Cloud. If not, like I said before, Tumblr offers helpful links to download Photoshop CC.

I go to 'layers' then 'frames' and 'new blank frame' because it's tidier than having loads of new layers, I would highly suggest using this method because you can generate loads of frames on the same layer.

I'm used to painting with photoshop, and it's a blessing that you can actually MAKE 2d animations there. It's the only program that allows me to use a bunch of different painting styles, so combining it with animations is a whole new development.
So far this is the best photoshop animation video(series) I can still find o youtube. Though I know it's 2 years old I still find this very easy to follow considering I am getting the supplies and software I need for animation this Christmas. Thank you for this!!

Hey Finchwing, if you have a MAP part how do you know when to cut the music at the exact time? I never really understand how all the MAP parts come together and the audio doesn’t sound choppy due to the cuts.

I couldn't find it either, so I got Photoshop CC. It comes with a membership with Adobe so you get access to all the other Adobe apps like Animate CC, Premiere Pro CC, etc. It's a little pricy but worth it in my opinion. Member ship is $50 a month but there are other plans for $19.99 a month. :)
Ok, let me rephrase First My onion skin (unlike yours) doesn't come up as soon as i open it, how do you get it to do that? Or do you set the setting as soon as you open it? Second How are you getting the frames to cute like that? I've tried over and over, and it wont' go as a stair case, its just a bunch of little slits on the same lines. Third The inbetween colors (the red and blue) do you put it their on your own, or is it their for you? And if so, then how do you do that? Fourth And when you erase something, it stays white, mine goes into a checker ish board color. How can i fix this?
I'm not sure if Finch can see every comment with questions, so I hope you don't mind if I answer them for you? First Onion skin settings are for how many frames before and how many frames after you would like to show. You have to create the actual onion skin yourself. Second Not sure how to answer this one, if I find out I'll tell you. Third You make the onion skin yourself. First you lock the layer that you are onion skinning with, then you choose your fill color. (The color you want for that onion skin.) Choose the frame before and fill it with the color. (Shortcut is ctrl Backspace for fill) Then choose your other onion skin color and fill the frame after using the same method. Depending on your onion skin settings, you may have to fill in more than one frame for your onion skins. Fourth I think the problem is that you're erasing on your background layer, and if you erase your background there would be nothing there, so it erases transparent instead of white. ;)

Well it was using the default amount, but after changing it and letting it use more, all of photoshop seems to be running a lot smoother now!! I also changed the drawing mode from advanced to basic, which also helped some c: Thank you so much!!

Just some advice. When you crop your border at the beginning, hold down both ctrl and alt whilst dragging the corner and it'll expand all corners equally.
I just want to add since you pointed out using arcs at 9:12. If you're new at animation (I did study it, now I study illustration) please check out the 12 principles of animation, they'll help you so much!
Thanks for the help! I use my sister's photoshop, so I might as well try out using this for trying to make a Warriors vid. Lol. And yes. I'm one of those people that goes to lines instead of sketching, because I've never been a sketcher. I didn't like the sketching portion when our art teacher in high school wanted us to sketch first. Because I visualize in my head or look at a picture and usually do really well in drawing from that. I've just never worked on fur with animals, even for the many years I've drawn on paper with pen and pencil, or even painted on paint canvas. I'm trying to learn digitally, and even though there's some things I'm still learning with photoshop, it might be the best things, since I'm more familiar with it and can change the canvas size. Because with trying other apps like firealpaca and stuff, I keep going past the canvas. I've always been one to draw huge. Lol. This was a wonderful vid. I think I'm gonna go practice with Graystripe, since I feel it's easier to do a cat with less coloring when you're just beginning with electronic drawing and animation.

Question.. have you ever had a problem with brush lag on CS6? I recently got the program and can't seem to fix this problem uwu
depending on what brush you use and how big your canvas is you might get lag! If your computer has a low RAM/memory then it might struggle
I mean, no matter the size of the canvas or brush, it's just always lagging like?? I guess it could be the RAM, but I do have 4GB :0
