I have been a Cajun Triangle beginner for many years! Someone showed me the squeezing method. I have been doing it wrong for almost a year. Your video helped me a lot. Thank You for your TH-cam lesson!
Why demonstrate on a "orchestral triangle" if demonstrating "Cajun Triangle"? He obviously has one since it is shown in the opening sequence. Also have not met any Cajuns playing the triangle the way he demonstrates. Everyone I know plays in the open corner. Also one does not use an up-down motion, one uses a circular motion. Depending on the syncopation of the Cajun accordion player with which you are playing, you adjusts the "ovalness" of the circle in a vertical or horizontal way to match. Please don't create more bad Cajun triangle players! There are enough already! :) (And most of them are not Cajun) Thanks!
