I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster”, can be seen as “old generation🤓”) to define being “old-school”, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and it's stuck by me ever since. When I made this TH-cam name, I was thinking from my graphic-design-major perspective of a brand that will not only describe what my content will be about but will also align with the times, and y’all know that “Kpop stans” have been a thang for awhile now so... OG + KPOP STAN. (My love for Eminem is also relevant.😂) ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear- me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" does NOT mean that anyone who's listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛

If you were into Infinite back in the day, the leader of Golcha is Sungyeol's baby brother lol. That's also why their dancing is so tight because they're from the same company.

Golden Child should have been so much more known by now. Their songs, mvs, choreo, and overall talent hit differently every single come back.

Ever thought about mentioning who choreographed each song assuming the choreo is particularly impressive or are those things usually mentioned on some webpage that I have no idea about? Also, any chance you could do a throwback choreo video analysis (since I assume you have already watched a lot of stuff and a reaction wouldn't be possible), maybe talk about who they were influenced by stateside and who those videos influenced in the KPOP present? Golden Child is underratted kpop group they are all talented vocal wise visuals . Wannabe is one of the trilogy song og golcha. Along with Without you, One Lucid dream, now they back to a light and energetic titled Pump it up and now they have resent comeback which is Burn it up. You should watch it too. Thank you

i know this is really random but Bomin, the guy who takes center for the dance part of the chorus (for example 8:58), learned this choreo a day before they filmed the mv due to his busy schedule. He is insane but they're all insane haha
