    Nice detailed video of this system. How do you go about with screen sharing for the participants in the conference table? Which cable connection do you need?
    Thanks in advance!

    Does this have to be used only by the account used to set it up or can someone else use it with their own MS Teams account? For instance if I set up a Teams meeting on my desktop and send out the link, can I then go into the room with the Neat Bar and sign in with my account to run that meeting?

      What type of license are you trying to use for the account that is signed in?

    Can one screen be used for content sharing or is it always self view/participant view?

    • @ExpertOfThings
      @ExpertOfThings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, in a Teams meeting, if content is shared, one of the screens will be used for that automatically.

    What licenses are needed for each setup. I have 3 conference rooms with a neat pad and neat bar configuration. Where can I get more info on this?

    Can one neat pad utilize both Teams and Zoom or do you have to choose between the two?

    • @ExpertOfThings
      @ExpertOfThings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to choose.

      @@ExpertOfThings Why wouldn’t you allow both? That is not very convenient for companies that use both Zoom and Teams meetings. It seems like a great product, but bad execution.

    • @ExpertOfThings
      @ExpertOfThings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cheeba420 That is actually dictated by the platform providers. For instance, Microsoft does not want to give certification to a product that would allow for seamless switching to a competitor's platform, and vice versa. However, both Teams and Zoom have the 'Direct Guest Join' feature, allowing you to easily join a Zoom meeting with one-touch join from a Teams Meeting Room device, and vice versa. This gives you access to both meeting types from the same device, without switching platforms.

      @@ExpertOfThings No I agree with Dustin. I'm a system administrator and we're currently testing this product. We as admins are tasked with providing simple and seamless solutions and if you think getting users to join a teams meeting while using a zoom device without blowing their minds you haven't worked in IT! It has nothing to do with the vendors, if you can install either you should be able to install both. It's literally the difference between this being a useless product and a brilliant one.

    • @ExpertOfThings

      @@djmelophobe I appreciate your thoughts on the matter, and trust me, I have worked in IT for many years in my career. I get making things simple for users. I am not arguing your desire to have these systems seamlessly switch between two different meeting platforms; I am saying that the reason they don't is that the meeting platform providers (Microsoft, Zoom, etc) say that the devices cannot do that if they are to be considered "certified" systems. What I was pointing out is that with Direct Guest Join, User A could schedule a Zoom meeting and invite the Teams Room to the meeting, and then when User A or any other user walks into the meeting room, the Teams Room console will show the Zoom meeting with a Join Now button (even though its a Teams Room). That takes any guesswork or confusion out of the equation for the end user.
