I like how there's a banjo solo briefly in the battle once in a while, then it switches back to grunty's theme. It's kinda like a tough battle between a lone banjo and a large orchestra. The final battle is a tough battle between a bear named Banjo and a large witch. See the connection?
I got a question how did you survive with your head rotting in the floor like no one can survive without a brain in their head it’s a fact and I’m not being one of those i’m so smart people
This is absolutely amazing... but I did spot a mistake. Around 3:00, it goes back to the beginning, but not in sharp. I like the change anyway though. The pictures made me crack up. XD
@HatoburekaSutajio I response that it's natural for newer games to have deeper mechanics. Still, the games, exspecially the newest installment, is focussed more on artistic values than gameplay and story. The older games, which ofc weren't super complex (due to being old), still put another focus. We were still talking about banjo kazooie and i just used FF as an example, which might not have been the best example, tho.
@HatoburekaSutajio Theere possibly, and i say possibly because i doubt it, one or two people left who actually worked on banjo kazooie and tooie in minor roles. But you cannot say the game is 'from the same people'. BK3 is from a different team of developers under the same name. This is not necessarily bad, but it's a fact. And you can notice that when you know both games. All of rare's N64 titles were very good to mindblowing, and almost all of their snes games were, too.
@HatoburekaSutajio and before you ask: the graphics of both games are not comparable. DK64 has a cartoony style, and it did a good job on at. I doubt there was a better looking realistic shooter at that time.
@HatoburekaSutajio Because i played both games i know that the targetting in DK64 would not have worked in Goldeneye. Btw, the details in DK64 could be higher because it made use of the N64 expansion pak which was released after goldeneye. Still, the graphics of both games are not comparable due to the style.
@HatoburekaSutajio what do you want to tell me with 'Oddjob'? Goldeneye was as good as shooter could be at that time. Can you exspect more from rare than making the best game in that genre until that point?
@HatoburekaSutajio That's your opinion and i respect that. but our topic was anyway that the old rareware is not there anymore. And it's unargubale that there weren't games like BK, D64m perfect dark or such in the latest time quality wise. There were some games which were enjoyable, but the new rareware had no single top game and you can see the conection because all key developers left rare after MS bought it or even before. Due to this, you cannot say nuts and bolts is from the same ppl.
@HatoburekaSutajio and due to that that i said 'It's as flawless as it gets'. You can always find little things to complain about, but there are no major flaws in the games in mentioned. A flaw is an obvious mistake a game does which makes it unplayable or generally less enjoyable, or just boring. Twilight princess's flaw for example were a lack of sidequests and a giant overworld which was totall useless. Those are OBVIOUS flaws. there is not set standard to perfect.
@HatoburekaSutajio at the time they got released they were flawless. The graphic was not better in dk64, nor was the targetting, that's obviously YOUR taste. Because it's stupid to judge something with standards set way later. Most testers who make money by testing games gave both pd and goldeneye a score above 95%, praising the graphics. It's as flawless as it gets. The fact that you can only critisize stuff like the graphic or ancient ki is proof of that.
@HatoburekaSutajio It's not like PD wasnt fun tho. I still play goldeneye occasionally. Of course in the shooter genre, newer shooters have amazing stuff like incredible fights vs hundreds of enemies or giant robots which just were not possible back then. But those shooters back then created the main forumla for a shoter and were great fun. It's like with redisent evil: I cannot bear playing the first playstation part of it, due to the graphic, it gives me nothing. The GC part does
@HatoburekaSutajio Whether you like em or not is not important anyway. Fact is, rare made many titles which got 90%+ back at that time and are widely considered as top titles and standard setters. Fact is, i don't know any title even near that level in the latest time. Rare titles nowadays are good when they get over 80%, and there was no single title which would be a reason to buy an xbox or is remarkable or outstanding.
@HatoburekaSutajio You cannot judge a game by standards 2,5 generations later. The graphics of Goldeneye were incredible, the targetting system was as good as it could get on the N64 and the KI was above average for that time, either. In which rare game, except perfect dark, which came after Golden eye? You call two of the best rated titles ever average or bad cept for the nostalgia and want me to admit s th towards myself?
@HatoburekaSutajio The focus Changed. While FF 1-8 put more focus on gameplay, story and secrets, the franchise developed into a high end cutscene show. Beautiful to look at, but much more shallow than earlier titles were. Compare Lost Odyssey and the newest Final Fantasy's. Lost Odyssey is what Final fantasy would have become under Sakaguchi. What game you like more is your decision, ofc. Fact remains, that there is nothing left from the rare of former times. It's as dead as Atari
@HatoburekaSutajio You can only judge games in their generation. There wasnt a better KI arround at the time of Goldeneye, thus, the KI ist not at all a flaw, it was a good attempt back then. It's as if you'd complain about unbreakable terrain in older shooter games, it's just unnecessary. As i said, Golden eye was as good as it could be at that time, and due to that, it's one of the highest rated games ever. Rare created those games nonstop back then. Today, rare doesnt.
@HatoburekaSutajio That they set the standards for the genre and halo and bioshock and such would possibly not exist without shooters like goldeneye and PD? Exspecially the multiplayer was great in goldeneye, the missions of course, and in perfect dark, the innovative weapons. Bioshock is no bad shooter, the opposite is true, but halo doesn't have any charme in my opinion. You cannot compare the possibilities new shooters 1 or 2 generations later have to what the standard setting titles did
Actually no you’re not the legendary super Mario because your profile anime character if someone replies to this comment I’m not going to see it so I don’t check my comments
@HatoburekaSutajio The only really good game they created in like 10 years was viva pinata. Right now they only create kinect game. Viva Pinata and it's difference to other rare titles also imply that it does not bear the handwriting of the original rare team. And i would still say that, at least their main titlse from the n64 and and the late snes era, were flawless. PD and goldeneye dont have flaws. there is nothing which could have been much better on the n64
@HatoburekaSutajio No i didnt. But i would rather play the goldeneye multiplayer than the halo multiplayer. Your argumentation is not coherent in my opinion, because you just dismiss how goldeneye and PD innovated the shooter genre. It's like saying Einstein's work was not groundbreaking because today we can see what mistakes he did and have far superior theories. As i mentioned, old shooters dont age well. Fact is, both games got dream rankings in every objective test.
@HatoburekaSutajio It's rather like...all the important heads of rareware left. Seriously, from this company there's nothing left but the name and the licences. It's not about not giving credit, it's just the truth. Take final fantasy without sakaguchi and uematsu. It went downhill. With rare, it's more extreme, since all important people in head positions of developement left the company long ago, many of them already left when starfox adventures was released.
@HatoburekaSutajio Hard to tell. I just found it boring. The multiplayer was boring, the missiosn were okay but....it lacked atmosphere and level design in my book. But i am more a fan of shooters like Metroid Prime. On the other hand, i really loved vanqish, which also didn't have a good story but was somehow...dunno, exciting. Perfect dark and golden eye revolutionized the shooter genre. You just don't see their innovations as outstanding anymore, today, they were still great games.
@HatoburekaSutajio Firstly, exspecially shooters mature badly. Doom is no fun today, back then it was great. Secondly, golden eye was an incredibly innovative game back then. and it's still fun to play. You obviously just don't like it. As i don't like Halo btw.
I like how there's a banjo solo briefly in the battle once in a while, then it switches back to grunty's theme. It's kinda like a tough battle between a lone banjo and a large orchestra. The final battle is a tough battle between a bear named Banjo and a large witch. See the connection?
That stupid bear and bird Grunty could not defeat,
But atleast she had an awesome fight and a better beat!
Rare died that day.
They were without a doubt the best people in the industry beforehand.
This remix is really great! But it doesn't change the bear and birds fate!
I really like that you think i'm quite great.
maybe it's time you join me before it's too late
Gruntilda Winkybunion
I will since you're a girl
And girls make the rules!
Hmmm, that reminds me,
Where are those two fools?
azart61

To see who's the true best
In a RHYMING CONTEST!!!
And I see you again in a comment that’s related in banjo kazooIy

Sorry, could you repeat that? All I hear is RAH REE RAH RAH REE REE RAH REE
Banjo and Kazooie did defeat me in 2 and I lost my head.
It's really frustrating that after every game I don't come out ahead.
I'm your fan xD
Gruntilda Winkybunion
I never knew your last name
Up until this day!
Would you maybe guess
The bear and bird are... gay?
Gruntilda Winkybunion
You're completely IMMORTAL!
No, you're GODLY, I say!
You've really impressed me!
Still strong to this day!
I got a question how did you survive with your head rotting in the floor like no one can survive without a brain in their head it’s a fact and I’m not being one of those i’m so smart people
Sounds good in the ear,
some more I want to hear!
clouder 5
Nice rhyming you did
But I have one, too.
Does the broom at all
Look silly to you?
Let’s hope that Nintendo buys the rights to Banjo and puts him and Kazooie in Smash Ultimate
Heck, I'd settle with Microsoft just letting them borrow them for Ultimate...
Also, THE MAD LADS GOT THEM IN.
1:27 Judging by the exterior of the structure, the entrance is very menacing!!
Take the words right out of my mouth you say.
Lucky that I think that, so you've made my day.
Gruntilda Winkybunion
The stupid bear and bird
Are clueless what to do.
But to make your day even more...
Gruntilda Winkybunion
I SUBSCRIBED TO YOU!!!
This is absolutely amazing... but I did spot a mistake. Around 3:00, it goes back to the beginning, but not in sharp. I like the change anyway though.
The pictures made me crack up. XD
Awesome! The key change at the 2nd half sounded great!
@HatoburekaSutajio I response that it's natural for newer games to have deeper mechanics. Still, the games, exspecially the newest installment, is focussed more on artistic values than gameplay and story. The older games, which ofc weren't super complex (due to being old), still put another focus.

Through the games songs the same theme is repeated w/ different overlaying texture to suit the theme of the environment.
very nice very nice
@HatoburekaSutajio and before you ask: the graphics of both games are not comparable. DK64 has a cartoony style, and it did a good job on at. I doubt there was a better looking realistic shooter at that time.
You know I just noticed, I never beat Banjo-Kazooie but this song i heard a million times
@HatoburekaSutajio Because i played both games i know that the targetting in DK64 would not have worked in Goldeneye.
Btw, the details in DK64 could be higher because it made use of the N64 expansion pak which was released after goldeneye.
Still, the graphics of both games are not comparable due to the style.
you are EPIC!
I agree
i finally found this 8 bit remix!
Banjo gets ready to take down his worst nightmare...MICROSOFT!!!!!!
Except it would take a whole cartrige just to hold the awesomeness of this tune lol.
@HatoburekaSutajio what do you want to tell me with 'Oddjob'?
Goldeneye was as good as shooter could be at that time. Can you exspect more from rare than making the best game in that genre until that point?
the first picture you can see a crease in the box haha!
awesome
Klungo ssssssssavesssssss the wooooorld
@MrWarioman64 What do you think Logbox is? :P
When Grunty goes techno
@HatoburekaSutajio That's your opinion and i respect that. but our topic was anyway that the old rareware is not there anymore. Due to this, you cannot say nuts and bolts is from the same ppl.
@HatoburekaSutajio It's not quite the same team. Many good and competent ppl left the rare team. It's not the same people anymore.
1:27 for yes
@HatoburekaSutajio Can you name a game from that era in the shooter genre which did better ?
@HatoburekaSutajio and due to that that i said 'It's as flawless as it gets'.
You can always find little things to complain about, but there are no major flaws in the games in mentioned.

Genious
Is this a furry channel in front of my eyes
+Gruntilda Winkybunion XD
@HatoburekaSutajio Well i do think after ff8 there was a loss in quality.
@HatoburekaSutajio We are discussing now about taste and opinion, though
And obviously Banjo and Kazooie will kick your ass!
Same HERE! :D
@HatoburekaSutajio at the time they got released they were flawless.

not her base, it's a statue in the middle of her fortress you see on BK1
My theme is now 8 bit,
You could say this is the shit.
@HatoburekaSutajio It's not like PD wasnt fun tho. I still play goldeneye occasionally.

Hey, who Disliked this?!
I swear it wasn't me.
I absolutely love this!
I'm being truthful, you see!
Calm down take your pills this is not a hate comment
hey man, how did you get the 8-bit sounds?
@kanerocks1998 Look it's not a bad game, but why did they have to take the piss out of the old games (in the very first mission)
@HatoburekaSutajio You cannot judge a game by standards 2,5 generations later.

Sure, i will join you but...
how do you fell about banjo beating you in 2,
(im not counting nuts and bolts.. that game sucked)
Nuts and bolts is terrible it’s more lonely than fallout three a game that supposed to be lonely
Grunty killed the 1 Disliker with a death spell.
I tried to learn this on the Marimba...didnt work out so well
@HatoburekaSutajio The focus Changed. While FF 1-8 put more focus on gameplay, story and secrets, the franchise developed into a high end cutscene show. Beautiful to look at, but much more shallow than earlier titles were.

i hacked the game and got to play as grunty!!!!!
its was a awesome !
@HatoburekaSutajio No i didnt. But i would rather play the goldeneye multiplayer than the halo multiplayer.

Nuts and Bolts is a good game. But not a good Banjo-Kazooie game.
