@candymcmurdo01 The same people who'll burglarize your home while you're sound asleep. It happens more often than you'd think. Plus, whoever did this must have known the parents were on the 3rd floor sleeping and felt they had time to write the note. They have DNA that doesn't belong to anyone in the family they SHOULD be using it to find out who did this heinous crime. I'm wondering if they know who it is and it's someone prominent in the community they're protecting for some bizarre reason. And the ransom amount? That's odd too.

I was suprized John so casually says, " call the police," to Patsy, since the ransom note clearly tells them to not call police. Patsy sounds so upset, she's almost incoherent. Wouldn't John want to call police/ 911 and clearly and calmly as possible, explain that a ransom note specified to not call police? That way they could decide to come over in plainclothes and unmarked cars, etc. And instruct them on what to do, meanwhile. The operator may have even kept them on the phone until they got there. John is an intelligent person and the most calm one. He even read novels related to murders and killings. it doesn't make sense, that he'd totally disregard the note and tell his histerical wife to " call police." He seems suspiciously detached, especially that he was atranging to leave town in his private plane soon after police came, until they advised him not to. Patsy seems almost fake over upset and John, unusually calm to a point of apathy.

Just because there was someone else's DNA that wasn't theirs, does not mean that the family wasn't involved as well, one way or another. So many folks who look to blame the parents are missing out on ONE crucial fact of this case. Jonbenet was winning pageants. She was already locally famous, and on her way to being famous nationwide. She was the kind of kid where Hollywood comes calling, with offers for acting gigs that can pay in the millions real fast. She had the talent, and the smarts, .....AND the beauty. She had it all, and she was rising fast. When that happens to a kid, they get noticed by a sh--t TON of people, and some of those people are evil wretches. That's what happened to this girl. Her parents did not kill her; an evil man crept in that house with the intention of TAKING her away. He was not gonna kill her in that house; he was gonna take her AWAY from her family. But he couldn't get her out of the house.

If anything leaves would be left at the window or tracked to the direction of the stairs on the way to the bedrooms. First off, this was 2021. Secondly, so tired of you coddling John, and feeling sorry for him. If the suitcase was used to escape, why had the window, infested with spider webs, not disturb? They show a video of the house just a couple days after the Ramsey's flew off to Georgia. The pineapple, still on the table, but, that window, filled with spider webs. The ransom letter, is the red herring. Tell John Andrew, to find the Miss America pageant in 1977, when his step mother earned 8th place, and 2,000 dollars in prize money. What was her talent? Dig deeper John Andrew, and find out what Patsy Paugh talent for her win, with West Virginia pageant. She performed a skit! Do you know what a skit is? The Prime Of Jean Brodie, was the skit she acted out, with not one, but two characters, changing her posture, voice, etc. Patsy rewarded for a skit, of lies, falsehood, a story. But that is not why I want you to find the talent potions, I want you to listen to it. From Patsy's voice of Miss Mackey, and Patsy voice of Jean Brodie. The short skit, about eating a bowl of pineapple, with cream. Arguing over how to spell the word Possession, with one s, or two, and a dog, in the skit, Jacques ( JonBenot s dog Patsy had the neighbors take because he peed all over the house) and the skit also brought up an attache case, and at the end, she screams.....VICTORY! Now, the ransom note had possession, spelled wrong, discussed a stray dog, wanted money in an attache case, and signed off, Victory SBTC. When people are under duress, and need to lie, they bring in a story, they are familiar with. The ransom letter, was a story. Patsy had a bachelor degree in journalism. The wording, familiar to her, and ending with Victory, come on. Go find the talent portion of her pageant. She either was covering the crime, wrote it with her opposite hand, or, she did it all. If your step sister screamed, why didn't your dad hear it? Did he take a sleep aid, or passed out from drinking? Your dad knows the truth. Hook him up to a FBI authentic lie detector test! All he did was take one with money from his wallet, and it was a private test. Get the FBI, broadcast it, so we all can finally believe him, or not. Ask your father, why he never fixed the broken window. Test the knots! Touch DNA in the knots, would be from the killer. Who twisted rope, almost took off the head of your step sister, and, also wrote in the ransom note: if you call the police, or even tell a stray dog she will be beheaded. The ransom, is the red herring. The DNA, in the knots, the other killer, or was Patsy Paugh Ramsey. Enough is enough. Stop coddling navy sailor, hobbyist sailboat racer, jury rigger artist, John Ramsey!

They have flash lights. I think the cops just always wanted to blame the family and they didn’t try very hard. It had to be someone who knew them. Maybe the killer was in the house before like a repair man who saw their daughter and developed a sick obsession with a little girl. He may have developed a plan to attack her and frame the family by stealing the paper from their pad that was laying out and stole the pen too and after the wrote the note ahead of time, entered the home when he saw lights on in the parents room so he knew they weren’t in the downstairs, he may have put the note out before he even grabbed the girl to assault her. Maybe he heard about the bonus money that her dad received because maybe he even worked at the dad’s place of employment or overheard a conversation from the Ramsey’s about the bonus they were getting if he was there working on a repair job in the home. Of course she peed as she was being assaulted a grown woman might do that too. It is really sad that the cops missed so much. But their minds were made up that it was the parents because that is easy. it seems like they didn’t really think of other possibilities, they were sure they knew who did it and their refusal to run the DNA boggles the mind. I blame the fact that porn is allowed and dark XXX movies because I think it drives the sick minds of some men to commit these horrible crimes. When I was growing up and just a little girl, porn wasn’t so readily available and none of these crimes happened from post WWII, through the 50’s and early 60’s. Children could play outside, and walk to the store or school. I even would walk to a drug store that had a soda fountain. It was so much fun to be so free and independent. Now both boys and girls and young women are grabbed all the time and r*ped and killed. One child in the mid 50’s was kidnapped and held for ransom. His name was Bobby Greenlease. His father was a wealthy Cadillac car dealer and the boy was a 7 year old student at a Catholic school. The man and woman who took him had a plan. The woman went to the school and told the nun in charge that she was Bobby’s aunt the sister of his mother and that his mother had a heart attack and was dying. She said she needed to take the boy to see his mom before she died so the nun believed her and didn’t ask for proof and I guess the nun never asked the boy if this woman was his aunt. The nun said you need to go with this woman to go see your mother. So that is how they got ahold of the boy. They submitted a ransom note and told them not to contact the police but of course they did, they gathered the cash and was going to turn it over, I am pretty sure they left the money where they were told to but when they went to the place to get the boy he was dead.

@@patriciasmith7074 you don't seem to know much about this case. the police interviewed over 1000 individuals over 19 states and followed up on1000s of tips. The DA at the time and the subsequent DA had bias and ties to John Ramsey through his attorneys. A Grand jury was convened 1998 and they decided to indict the ramseys, not for murder but on lesser charges. But the DA didn't follow through w indictments and whole thing was kept secret for 15 yrs until 2013. Yes police made mistakes by not securing the scene that morning ( no one knew yet and it was a reported kidnap) but the ramseys also contributed to that by having friends and others at the house then john picks up jon benet from basement to 1st floor---murder scene evidence now compromised. you know why they focused on the family early on? it was because they were the most likely suspects and their behavior and the note was suspect and they refused to be interviewed by police for 3 months and they changed their story about their son supposedly being asleep that morning.

Also told the Bolder police that I was having dinner with at a weeding we all attended. Run the DNA through the family DNA tests. It will bring back a relative. Easy to solve. But Boulder doesn't want to. Why? What are they hiding?

I believe that they know if they were not involved. Their wealth is what saved them and it's sad that this brother is trying g to capitalize on his sister's death.

One parent went to her grave not knowing who killed her baby girl. Please don't let the father also pass not knowing. The technology is available for genetic genealogy, why are they dragging their feet on this ?
This should have been solved long ago. Incompetence then and now, apparently.

CYA and it’s bad PR for the police department.
Boulder police are running out the clock on John Ramsey thinking as long as he is no longer with us he won’t be able to sue for defamation, malicious prosecution.
IMO, as long as Boulder PD have this case open there will be no DNA testing

They should investigate whoever was in the house days before the crime, any person who went to do a repair or someone who came to decorate the house. Has the housekeeper been investigated? She probably knew about John’s bonus.

Since the ramsome not stated the law enforcement knowledge did anyone ever think to look at those entails as a Sergent by chance ? There was also a female officer that came forward saying she knew something but never heard from her again so I'm curious as to these things this case has been too long in breaking .
