My Father'last name was Donn. I am convinced he had a lot of Irish in him.My Mother's last name was Jordan and too was from Irish ties. However, I haven't noticed the name Jordan being an Irish name. Would like to study more about that.

Interesting to hear him talking about the changes in media, and promotion since his rise to fame - which have been brought in by the rise of Internet and digital platforms and the explosion of millions of tracks, and the demise of many ordinary easy listening shows. 30 years ago he recorded a track my father wrote on his first chart album, 'From the Heart', which had 150,000 advance sales. Airplay and sales are so different now. One of my father's Scottish songs 'Dark Island' is on his latest album, but changed days.
