Let's practice some advanced sentence transformations.
This is a great way to test your English fluency because you need to use both grammar and vocabulary when changing the sentences.
The activity is referred to as a key word sentence transformation exercise. I will give you a sentence along with a word, and I want you to use the word to create a new sentence that has the same meaning.
Take the quiz and let me know how you do.

It goes without saying that complaints are taken seriously
Fun fact and a little warning to other students about the phrase "feel at ease". I once used it in the USA, and I was advised to use "to be comfortable" instead because the way I pronounced it they understood that I said "do you feel a tease", which sounds kinda weird to an American ear. 🙂
I think perhaps you said it with a True T, At ease, hence, it sounded A tease.I think we could use either a flap T or like he did, do a full glottal stop in AT as T Is a Plosive letter.

Can we use the phrasal verb "run up" instead of shot up when it comes to seeing a rise in the prices of something?
In this situation, I would use either 'gone up' or 'shot up' with the latter being more descriptive. 👍

Great lesson BUT I regret to point out that the exercise with "it goes without saying" was blatantly wrong. The sentence "the company takes complaints seriously" is in no way equivalent to the sentence "it goes without saying that complaints are taken seriously by the company"
