- In this video, I show you how to replace the door pressure switch that turns on the dome light and other interior accessories. The process is straightforward. Using a 15mm deep socket, unbolt the nut holding the door pressure switch to the A pillar. Pull the switch forward and try to pull out as much of the wiring harness as possible. The put a clamp on the wiring harness to keep it from pulling back through inside the A pillar. remove the switch and insert the new switch. Then bolt the switch back into place. Last step is to close the door which sets the depth of the pressure switch.

Bro your plane blue prints 🔥
Thanks man!🤙 I was 15 Hrs into a private pilot license at the time. So I thought it was cool. Unfortunately the entire headliner assembly needs to be replaced.
You have awesome content. I am totally subscribed! Not a lot of videos out there for Ford OBS. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the great work!
Thanks man!🤙 I appreciate it!
Will do!
Another good video. Got a lot done at cost on my 95’ SB because of your channel. You should start a Tacoma channel next. BOOM
Thanks man!🤙 That’s exactly what I want to hear from my viewers.
That’s tempting. Lol
Good job Stevie good job
Thanks Francisco!🤙
My door pressure switch is on the door pillar on the latch side. Funny how it started malfunctioning right on time with your repair...lol. Gotta order a new part today.
Really? It’s funny how Ford makes subtle changes year to year.
Hahaha! Good timing then!
@@TheMinuteMasters Ya...I just disconnnected the switch for now, as my light was staying on when I closed the door...and was off when I opened it. Not quite working as designed...lol.
@@joeidaho5938 Gotcha. My switch was causing my dome light to flicker.
I think you can leave it disconnected for now.
Hey Steve, could you possibly do a power window conversion? Thanks for the quality videos!
At the moment, I don’t have that my future mod list.
I just unscrew the jamb nut, and push them through the cab. I don’t want my dome light coming on, unless I tell it to.
However these are old habits from being in asset recovery.
Good point. You want to be dark as long as you can, so you don’t get noticed.
@@TheMinuteMasters Opening a door to hook up “J hooks” on a old Texas Sling truck is a dead giveaway. My repo truck was a 94 F250. I even took a lowrider “Red’s” hydraulic pump off a car we got, and swapped it out with the pimp on my boom.
Great videos bro 👍, do you know a solution for a lose dash, looks like where my dash holds the tab broke and now everything is lose
Thanks man!🤙 Yes, there is a fix. Several online retailers sell a dash bracket. Desolate Motorsports sports sells one type and Jeff’s Bronco Graveyard and CP Addict sells a different style.

My '92 has the switches below the door latch. Are they the same switch, just in a different spot?
Could be. I’d have to compare.
My switch was disconnected, do I need to remove the side panel to get the connector?
I think you could reach it once you remove the side panel. I can’t remember if there is a large enough opening.
I replaced mine and it didnt seem to change anything. The passenger side works just fine but i cant get the driver side to do anything. Any ideas?
So you replaced the driver’s side and the cab light still flickers?
I have a 94 5.0 all stock. Was wondering if u knew anything about rearend gears. I wanna make my truck have better throttle response but not sure about the gears
You came to the right place! I just regeared my 8.8 from 3.08 to 3.55 and I absolutely love it! 100% recommend.
@@TheMinuteMasters does the your truck respond better when u press the gas pedal. And have u lost any middle or top end power if you noticed. Again I don’t know to much about gears yet so I might sound dumb but try to learn. Is there like a kit for the gears online or something or u have to buy individually.
@@TheMinuteMasters really appreciate you always responding to everyone’s comments so fast.👍🏾❤️
Mine was not this easy at all. I actually ended up ruining both of the new ones I got. I couldn’t get them to plug in right, as soon as I would let go they would stay plugged in. Then when I shut the door it’s like they had a short in them.
Really? I guess it varies from truck to truck.
Will this include passenger side?
This is the same as the passenger side.
Hey the harmonic balancer are the same from 92 thru 96 or do they change??
Good question. I don’t know for sure. I’d assume the same engine (like the 5.0) would have the same harmonic balancer across a range of years.
@@TheMinuteMasters yeah its cause my harmonic balance r has 4 spikes and im guessing they discontinue it and mine is a 96 5.0 f150 idk does it need the spikes to work idk
@@miguelgarcia3178 Gotcha. Have you tried sourcing a new one?
@@TheMinuteMasters yeah but they dont make them
@@miguelgarcia3178 Really? That’s crazy. You would think they would since it’s a standard engine part.
