- Massive protests in Bangladesh have escalated into violence, with clashes between students, pro-govt supporters and armed police. Former Foreign Secretary Harsh V Shringla expressed concerns over ongoing violence stating possibilities of Pak’s ISI and others being involved in protests. New protests defied an order barring public meetings after nearly two dozen people were killed in earlier violence. Shringla hinted at Pakistani radical elements being involved in the blood-soaking violence. Several people died in fresh protests, despite authorities cutting mobile telephone services to quell unrest initially sparked by student anger. The protests have been driven by demands for reform of the country's quota system for civil service jobs. Quota reserves positions for specific groups, including descendants of freedom fighters of the 1971 War of Independence against Pak.

I hope so Indian Government is keeping close eye on Bangladesh. The anti-quota students protests (which even I want in India) is no longer limited to students, it's hijacked by radical Islamists - Jamat & BNP coalition. They are burning police stations, metro statios, public property & government buildings, killing OCs, several towns fell to the revolutionaries. They are advancing Dhaka though terrible supersession is being tried constant by Hasina Regime & Tanks have been entered.
They are openly giving anti-India slogans in protests like, " Those who consider India as maternal uncles house, vacate the nation" and spreading fake news in the name of hindus against Awami League & its students union(the current ruling Party of BD) . In the garb of students protest it's an Islamic coup attempt going on like Iranian Revolution against Khomeni is turning against Hasina now. If they succeed a beautiful unique culture of BD Hindu will end, our strong diplomatic & trade relations with 🇧🇩 will end, Chinese influence will grow in South Asia & a huge danger for Bharat. There is not mobile network, internet connection, and Wi-Wi-Fi in our country. Since last three days I have no contact with my family in back home. The govt is killing the innocent students and the ordinary people who are helping students. Almost 300 students were killed by Bangladesh government. Many students are Under 18. They are school children. The government is doing genocide now. We want the resignation of current prime minister Shekh Hasina. She is the most wanted criminal.
I urge the United Nations and Human right organizations to help our students and save their lives and ensure the human rights in Bangladesh.
