Yes, they knew of the schedule, just that they did not know that it will be announced in the MV. That is why they were saying that ii is a big spoiler. Probably Div 3 knew that Twice are spoiler queens so they did it first...anyway, Dahyun & Tzuyu did try to spoil the album release in their car vlive not too long ago, by showing 11 with their fingers and then a 3.

The first remix is like they switched out the instrumental at the chorus where it needs to be the most exciting with some chill elevator music
