I will tell someone that we shouldn’t continue in each other’s life, if that’s where our relationship has come to. I feel like this is a topic I could talk all day about! I have definitely found that in many friendships I am not the prioritized friend, even if I feel/believe I am close to that person. And then, it is difficult to decipher if that person is being a neglectful friend or if they simply don't know how to be a friend to others...I know that sounds weird but some people genuinely don't know how to be considerate, inclusive, compassionate, etc. More often than not, these ultimately tend to be friendships I force myself to let fizzle out because if I continue pursuing the friendship, I know I'd end up hurt at some point. Convos like this make me wish I were in the room to ask for advice! Maybe you guys could do polls or create a space for question submissions?? Kinda like a Q&A but more so for offering input and advice to people's problems.
This couldn't have come at a better time. Im going through a romantic break up right now with my ex and we've been together for 3 years. One of the things I'm doing to feel okay, is binge watching That's so Raven on disneyplus. And now this! You might not know how many lives you are affecting, but thank you Raven!
I think friendship breakups suck but if my best friend did not show up to my wedding with no text or explanation that would hurt so bad I wouldn’t want to talk to you either but lesson learned all you can do is move on and be a great person

I am the type of person depending on the situation I’d either try to find closure or just leave because sometimes talking about how that person is no good for me it’s better to be left unsaid.

I definitely grew apart from a lot of my friends, mainly because my friends were known through people who had tried to harm me in the past. So sometimes you grow apart because you no longer trust the people around you. A lot of my distancing came from dealing with severe depression and not wanting to burden other people. If a friend were to come down on me for it, it would hurt especially considering the emotional battles I have to deal with. But I also think not everybody is a good friend for you, and we are not always a good friend for them.
God I hope not! I mean I get it, tv show besties don’t always stay friends BUT these two clearly had a relationship past 2007 when the show ended and from clips we seen, they stayed close. You weren’t aware of how socially and personally horrible it is to say “YES” to an RSVP but then not show up/no notice or nothing. I think I would be pissed and petty enough to have my sibling do my dirty work if you were IN THE WEDDING party like my groomsman or best man. But if you’re just a friend(not a close but still good friends) and just didn’t show up, I would have hit you up AFTER my honeymoon myself and had one conversation with you. From that point, I would decide what our relationship would be.

You knew ahead of time when the parade was and you knew ahead of time the wedding. Since both are planned far in advance..You just don't not show up. Not cool at all. Her sister was correct. Some people have limits to how many people they want at the wedding, so if you knew you werent going, yes someone else could have taken those spots. A text or a call to her when you got the news about hosting would have avoided how y’all friendship is now and hopefully she would have understand . But also the friend should have called you instead of the sister. I don’t like how she put her sister in the middle of it . Maybe you could call her to dust off your hands and clear the air and kind of get that weight off your shoulders . She probably wants you to be the one to reach out first but at least you can make your peace and move on if that’s what you want to do . Hopefully y’all can come together and talk about both accomplishments and try to celebrate together even though it’s been years 😂
