@Diy Life i know you werent asking me but personally i think step 1 is to get a good scrap book, like the illo one which is one of my faves, but you need one that has enough pages so you dont run out, and the pages are thick enough for most pens and markers to not bleed through, but not so thick that the paper is like card. Im rambling now but i hope this helped lol 😂

As my art teacher says: you need to practice it a lot but it’s really important to draw straight lines freehand. Don’t use a ruler!

I immediately thought the Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever when I saw the hot-air balloons. The yellow made for such a pretty color scheme for this month with the balloons. I never associated hot-air balloons with April (my birthday month), but it came out beautifully!

I love this theme! Here in New Mexico hot air balloons are a really big thing and we hold the biggest hot air balloon fiesta in the US every year during the fall. It’s great because you’ll be going to school and the skies are littered with balloons everywhere it’s really beautiful.
i love you Amanda but following your set up is sometimes a hassle because I have no idea how many dots do you take for columns etc. maybe some signposting before each spread on the screen? just a suggestion :D

April is my birth month, and I must say, this has to be one of my favourite setups you've done! The hot air balloons look so whymsical and the yellow and orange works so well. Instantly, I thought of Autumn because April is in Autumn in Australia, where I live, but it also looks bright and sunny like spring. Also I really love that offset text and use of washi tape!

Fun Fact: The hot air balloon festival takes place in New Mexico in late September/early October because the air patterns. Balloons will go up and basically float in a square and land where they were launched!

I love this! The International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I live! It is absolutely stunning! Over 500 hot air balloons take off each morning! It is truly magical!

Admittedly I have fallen off from bujoing from January-March because I have just been so busy with school that I haven't had time to work on my personal bujo (i use my school one all the time, which would be a fun idea for a video, just sayin :) ) and now that I'm almost done with school ill have more time to work on my personal bujo, and watching you set up April's spread it makes me really wanna get back on that! thank you!!
