Thank you for this awesome tutorial! This is the best I have seen so far. Your directions are so detailed. Your pencil pouch turned out so cute. I love the fabrics you used. Thank you also for the pattern. It was much appreciated. I am excited to start making it. I’m going to use your pattern. Thank you!
Just downloaded your pattern from your website & wanted to say a special thank you for providing this pattern, very kind & very generous of you x The video is brilliant, very clear & simple instructions just got to get some fabric now!!! Once again Many thanks for sharing😃
hello Momma cherished :) is this what your son gets up to in his spare time. :p I'm going to show show my mum your channel she's recently started doing shabby chic stuff like this.
Hi! Excellent video! I am new to stitching but I always wanted to make something to gift my nieces. I will definitely give this a try this week. I was wondering, did you print your pattern pdf on an A4 paper size? Would resizing the paper make a difference? Thank you for your video! You give novice crafters some hope! 🥰🥰
@@kathyreichard7029 I'm so sorry I missed this comment before. When I mention cutting on the fold. I mean folding your fabric in half, laying your pattern piece against the fold, and cutting out around the pattern. When you're done and you unfold it, it'll be twice its original size. I hope this helps.
Absolutely love your video. However am not being allowed to download the pattern. add to cart went through all the steps but still not able to download. DIGITAL download tab is not lighting up to download.
I think over time there will be less friction because of use which will help with the bunching up. I've experienced the bunching with heavier fabrics and I usually just push it back in after sliding it down.
@@byGeorgeandmore I have downloaded twice and the line is still missing. Any chance you can tell me how far up in inches from the bottom to make the line? Also, could I use a printed vinyl for the top slider part?
For those of us not experienced in sewing as you, showing the actual steps wouldve been very helpful. As others mentioned, confused by what you mean by on the fold...
@@reneem9353 I apologize for the confusion. When I mention cutting on the fold it means folding your fabric in half and putting the edge of the pattern piece or template where the arrows are located against the fold and then cutting fabric. Essentially, after cutting on the fold, when you unfold the fabric will be twice it's original size. I hope this helps.
This is the best video for the sliding pencil case, thank you
Excellent video! Thank you, it’s so easy to hear you and follow along , great job! ❤
Thank you for the pattern and tutorial. Can't wait to make one!
You’re welcome 😊 Thank you sew much!
Can’t wait to see photos of what you make… 😊

It would be good to show cutting out the fabric. I’m confused with the cut on the fold . So we double the fabric

@@byGeorgeandmore thanks so much
Hmn, I would like to make this for my crochet needles .. I think I will make 2 + if it works out well 😊
That's a fabulous idea! 😍

@@lystrageorge3395 Were you ever able to download the pattern?
Did you use canvas or broad cloth panel? Sooo cute
@@lindadavis6193 For this particular panel I actually used a cotton knit, but I stabilized it with a Decovil light.
Hi I made one of these poches but when I pull the slider down my lining bunches and pushes out of the top. Is there a good way to prevent this?

Not sure why but when downloading the pattern the page with the line is missing the line
@@terrilarabee4323 Try downloading it a second time. Something may have gotten lost while downloading it.
