I waited eight years to have a collaboration between Kai and Seulgi and I don't regret it. The 4 of them are a combination that I love.

After I became kpop fan..I also dream Kai and Seulgi being together in one stage..
I feel like what made it more fun and comfortable is that Kai and Seulgi are the same age (94line) and Jeno and Karina (00line) are also the same age there are just less things to be awkward about when they interact with each other. They're also all very familiar with each other too, especially Jeno and Seulgi since NCT and Red velvet were trainees together and were smrookies at same time; Red Velvet in general have always had a soft spot for the dreamies. So having a fun song with the 4 of them just works so well, because you can tell they're all just vibing and having fun.
And funfact: jeno and seulgi were literally together as smrookies back in 2013 along with taeyong. First smrookies trio introduced by sm.

Kai and seulgi also train together they used to be friend I'm not sure they are still close or not
Seulgi has been a sm trainee since 2007 hence she's familiar/on talking terms with many artists
i talk bad about SM on daily basis but no other company is doing these collabs with crazy combinations like them!
this stage was indeed as legendary as Zoo even though they both have very different vibes

i know what you mean about Karina's voice. her voice has the most gorgeous tone to it and i always find myself loving whatever she sings, soo much. i even adore her just talking softly. like i could listen to her forever
Yes karina's vocal is the best in aespa for me...discovered that in savage pre-chorus the one she sang then again in illusion and girls she just proved yourself more
Her vocal tone is so unique, it feels so satisfying to hear 100% of the time
Seulgi lower register always brings you home, and Karina's rap are just so good, like she sings it's different vibe but then she raps and she changes the whole mood.
Like I don't know Jeno's position in NCT but rest three are main dancers and yet they deliver such a delicate composition with such sweet harmonies, indeed a SM thing.
Seulgi got my attention slowly but surely with the years and I just became a casual Reveluv a few weeks ago because of Seulgi and with of course Seulgi as my bias. The duality I learned that she had make me fall for her so so hard. So when collabs happens, I'm all about Seulgi and I'm there mainly for Seulgi. So no need for you to apologize to focus Seulgi for me since I am the same. Lol
This song is a freaking drug. I can't get enough of it!! Kai and Seolgi duet, is definitely a thing that needs to happen. I wouldn't be surprised to see it at some point in the future. Don't worry Kaia, EXO is my ult of all ult groups, but Seulgi is my RV bias, so she was stealing my attention away from Kai a few times as well. She really is captivating, it's how she became my bias at first sight. Whoever planned the lineup for these songs, and who would be singing on them...genius. These 4, sound AMAZING together, and this song is perfectly suited to their voices!

I am just like you hahaha spent most of my time just watching Seulgi. See when you are an ace, the attention catcher. Seulgi's vocals here are so good, the low tones, high tone, harmonization, literally EVERYTHING. I may be biased idc but she is the main vocalist in this group
