Honestly I prefer to have Final Restriction release, be without pyro rewards, that plus the fact that the upgrade materials are in 9 out of 10 cases not necessary means that I can slack and just have fun in the gamemode, as opossed to chasing plat in total/grand assault. Like my max level account is 1 year and 5 months old with 138 students (I have most of the meta ones), and even with the friend system (thank god I have whales in that list) I still struggle to be competitive, in fact I can barely get plat, so having a balance between competitive gamemodes like total/grand assault and more "easy fun" gamemodes like FRS and joint firing drill is something that I really appreciate.
I'm bit worried about unnecessary censorship happening with recent Azur Lane where they have to pull some character's alts (swimsuits specifically) away from the game to comply with google "censorship" that can affect any other gacha games like BA
NGL, they also need to make the rate-up higher. NOT the SSR rates (though that would be nice) but the RATE UP rate, because it's so damn common for people have to hit full pity in this game and get nothing but spooks. Most Games nowadays have at least a 50/50 chance to give you the rate-up unit when pulling an SSR. I also have to remind most people that when they bumped up the SSR rate from 2.5% to 3% it made getting the rate up unit HARDER and not easier. Because while the SSR rate was raised the rate-up stayed the same. So before the change it was a 1 in 3 chance to get the banner unit. Now it's a 1 in 4 which just doesn't do the game any favors.
I think BA is overdue for a Mika moment. Well, if it does flop, then I'll just keep playing and just not expect much from it. There are better things to come.
It would be nice if they expanded the cafe system, maybe tie it in with the guilds. Some additional support for the crafting system would be nice, it’s ok as is but there is room for improvement. An increase in ways to gain exp quickly would also incentivize new players to continue playing, maybe additional level milestone bonuses would also be good? Advance customizability in regards to player tags/ids would also bring a new type of interesting system to the game that wouldn’t take too much effort to implement. I’m thinking something akin to what Splatoon 3 or Pokémon Masters EX does with their tags/ids. I also think adding a more engaging endgame would greatly improve player retention. Adding a genuine PVP mode would definitely bring in a whole different crowd, and it would add a new layer to the leveling system. Of course an important thing to improve is the localizations, but that’s a given since it’s been an issue for a while now. I have hopes for the 4th anniversary, I hope it tops the 3rd. Considering what happened to Project KV, and Stella Sora being a thing, not to mention Project RX… there is a lot going on behind the scenes at Nexon. I just hope it doesn’t negatively affect Blue Archive.
As someone who's also a huge fan of BA, I do think that they need to add more "end game" type of content. I do agree with what you said, like if BA added Guild Raid bosses, it would bring quite a lot of enjoyment to those who are those heavy grinders and even to those in "early game." I do agree that at the moment BA is feeling stale after the whole KV incident, Nexon having to restructure the whole BA team even to the point where even character designs felt a little stale but 2025 might be a semi-"bad" year for BA with a player decrease but I do hope BA somehow adds more new stuff even if we have to wait 5-6 months after JP side
Tbh, I'm still disappointed that Yostar didn't get to publish the global version of Blue Archive. We might not be experiencing these kinds of issues if they had. I remember when the Japanese version was released, for a couple of months, they used Nexon's subsidiary, 'NAT,' for the trademark instead. I guess, because of Nexon's reputation, they were afraid people might not want to try the game if they saw Nexon's name on it.
Yup, You see why CN has a lot of content and even in-game voice. Also my experience with Arknights is really good for global. So yeah Nexon kinda nerf global release with some questionable decisions
This game has the same issues that PrincessConnectRE:Dive had, they both good games, they both have a Wider JP Audience and their biggest revenue comes from Japan, sadly PrincessconnectRE:Dive Ended their service in Global and just focused on their JP server, and i was surprised since global was making like 3 millions or more a month, but JP numbers were bigger as always, i felt bad because i spent some money on that game, and since then i avoid games that have an Asian Server and a Global Server, because the EoS will always arrive to Global first and the companies will focus on their main audience with bigger wallets (Asians). Blue Archive is going to the exact same process as PrincessConnectREdive. The new Nexom Game... Waifus with Swords, focusing more on mostly Legal Age instead of mostly under certain ages and schoolgirls, i will go ballz deep for that swordartonline game.
Yostar is developing Stella Sora and Im already liking what I see from it. I will too be going into it as well, cause the presentation already looks dope.
@supertdfa Stella Sora already has 200k+ pre-registers, and the community has been invaded and dominated by the BA community. All the things you mostly see on the comment section of their official channel are 😭😭😭 and it's hilarious lol.
@Stilltiredtbh seems like Yostar has been working on the game for quite some time now since they already have gameplay showcase. They also recently announced the official cancellation of Nekoparaiten, and I quite disappointed since I like NekoPara. I guess they want to focus on Stella Sora instead.
You took the words right out of my mouth. At this rate this game is gonna turn into another Kancolle where its just carried by the character designs and no one cares to play the OG game
I'll be honest here. BA's main strong points are how they handle character interactions and good story. As for gameplay, from the very beginning, I really think that it's kinda meh. Not bad, but nothing special or addicting either. It just there. If I can compare it to another game, then I think it's kinda similar with FGO. Yes, BA has MANY more gameplay variations. But the basic gameplay itself is a bit boring for me. So no matter on what mode, the experience for me is the same. That's why just like FGO, I treat BA as a visual novel with a bit of side battle gameplay. Other game that I treat like this is Azur Lane. Tho for this one, the story itself isn't that stellar either. So I play mainly for its waifu collector aspect lol.
@@justawanderingoldman7699 Pretty much, Blue Archive's Main Story peaked with Volume 3 and Volume F, but other than that the main stories are just okay - they're just elevated by how good the characters are. The main reason I play the game is the events and relationship stories. Ngl I've become so attached to the characters that I hope the game gets back to its feet. Honestly it's a bit scary for me since the main reason I was scared to invest into BA was that since it's a live service game we don't know what the future holds, compared to a game that's one and done.
I started playing Nikke since 2nd anniversary, and I have to admit the problems I bury under the sand for quite some times. The optimization sucks so bad. It burns my phone and consume my battery so fast during gameplay. The game 90% resets whenever I accidentally press on the news/update screen, it jumps to my browser, I return to wait the game loading for another 2 minutes. I play Nikke for hours without problems. I advocate to have pc version just like you said. My issue also involves the UI issue. Some raids like Goz: my students often move so close to the bottom right that I cant buff them because the button is in the way. One thing bugs me so bad in recent updates is how they change some stuffs in the UI for worse. Like, when you go to the normal shop and press to buy some mats; normally it shows you how many do you have, but now it stops doing so. It's so bad because I cant remember if I need to stock these mats or not, and the convenience just got removed for no good reason. I can complain more but I dont wanna make a whole essay on a post. So those are concerns on top of my head most of the time. I love this game for helping me to leave FGO after 8 years without regret. So I really hope devs stop getting stuck in the quagmire soon.
I feel your sentiment on this, once I can comfortably clear campaign and hard mode easily and not sweat in total and grand assault, I'm really just here for the story snd momotalks at the end of the day. No other future characters interest me except B Hoshino and T Shiroko and imma probably just a break until main story gets updated. Plus the restriction gamemode doesn't give pyroxenes which is lowkey a bummer. Still glad that this game doesn't make PvP it's main attraction though so FOMO isn't bad.
As probably one of the almost extinct Azur Lane Giga Whales, I hope the Azur Lane issue won't spread it's unreasonable censorship to all gacha games from all platforms.
I've been playing global for 2 years, and I'm taking my first extensive break now. BA is a good gacha game, but the recent updates are... questionable. 3.5th anniversary looked great on JP, but the 2.5th, and 3rd anniversary were nothing too exciting. We need more frequent Total Assault, and Grand Assaults with more bosses! Funcionality for the clubs, ans also rework some of the old sprites. Fury of Set as it is right now might as well be removed, since barely anyone plays it, and we need more items in the shop! That's just me though.
I feel like this is a tad bit of an over reaction, It feels as if people were talking well of the game a few months back. Slow years happen, and It was just made worse by the whole project KV situation. I don't see why the future is supposed to be looking that dim, even if the player count did drop. It doesn't seem like it was so drastic that it warrants this reaction, but it is understandable. We all love the game and want it to continue living on. Even if the gameplay is alright at best (although I still find it decently fun, might have something to do with me never having downloaded tick- -tock and loving the bossfight themes), it is something that I can see Nexon expanding on to make it more engaging, I think adding some sort of "Club raid", which seems to be present in many mobile live-service games these days would be a good move and actually get people to use the club feature, which is really something underused, I did not even know it was in the game until a while after I unlocked it
The thing is that games take years to develop so competition takes years to react to or challenge your success Zzz and wuwa are competing with it despite having different gameplay And the competition is only going to get more fierce in the coming two years That being said BA has already transitioned to a multi media project Their success at comiket and such proves the IP as valuable outside of the game so there’s a good chance they will use it for another game

@@Prof.Darknss4Since when did stella sorra existed?
I think PriConne Global failed because of Crunchyroll's mismanagement and changes they did in the game

Of course, Games nowadays are Focusing on Female character design to gain Players, and this idea comes way back in the 2020's

I believe there’s a channel that does translation of the story but I gotta ask around first. If you can read JP than you can switch over
@Prof.Darknss4 Oof, then I'll pass. Thanks for replying though
The cunny devs need to get their head back into the game 😭😭😭
Segs update when?
I just started the game and my only problem rn is that i can't get Ibuki :(
I'm sure her event will re run again this yr but u will have to wait for a long time
Her event didn't have a rerun yet, but it'll happen in a few months 100%
nothing to play :c
